| 11-1 |
And Jehovah said unto Moses, Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. |
主はモーセに言われた、「わたしは、なお一つの災を、パロとエジプトの上にくだし、その後、彼はあなたがたをここから去らせるであろう。彼が去らせるとき、彼はあなたがたを、ことごとくここから追い出すであろう。 |

Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold. |
あなたは民の耳に語って、男は隣の男から、女は隣の女から、それぞれ銀の飾り、金の飾りを請い求めさせなさい」。 |

And Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people. |
主は民にエジプトびとの好意を得させられた。またモーセその人は、エジプトの国で、パロの家来たちの目と民の目とに、はなはだ大いなるものと見えた。 |

And Moses said, Thus saith Jehovah, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: |
モーセは言った、「主はこう仰せられる、『真夜中ごろ、わたしはエジプトの中へ出て行くであろう。 |
| 11-5 |
and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattle. |
エジプトの国のうちのういごは、位に座するパロのういごをはじめ、ひきうすの後にいる、はしためのういごに至るまで、みな死に、また家畜のういごもみな死ぬであろう。 |

And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath not been, nor shall be any more. |
そしてエジプト全国に大いなる叫びが起るであろう。このようなことはかつてなく、また、ふたたびないであろう』と。 |
| 11-7 |
But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that Jehovah doth make a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel. |
しかし、すべて、イスラエルの人々にむかっては、人にむかっても、獣にむかっても、犬さえその舌を鳴らさないであろう。これによって主がエジプトびととイスラエルびととの間の区別をされるのを、あなたがたは知るであろう。 |
| 11-8 |
And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger. |
これらのあなたの家来たちは、みな、わたしのもとに下ってきて、ひれ伏して言うであろう、『あなたもあなたに従う民もみな出て行ってください』と。その後、わたしは出て行きます」。彼は激しく怒ってパロのもとから出て行った。 |

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. |
主はモーセに言われた、「パロはあなたがたの言うことを聞かないであろう。それゆえ、わたしはエジプトの国に不思議を増し加えるであろう」。 |
| 11-10 |
And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and Jehovah hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land. |
モーセとアロンは、すべてこれらの不思議をパロの前に行ったが、主がパロの心をかたくなにされたので、彼はイスラエルの人々をその国から去らせなかった。 |
