And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, |
主はモーセに言われた、 |
| 31-2 |
See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: |
「見よ、わたしはユダの部族に属するホルの子なるウリの子ベザレルを名ざして召し、 |
| 31-3 |
and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, |
これに神の霊を満たして、知恵と悟りと知識と諸種の工作に長ぜしめ、 |
| 31-4 |
to devise skilful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, |
工夫を凝らして金、銀、青銅の細工をさせ、 |
| 31-5 |
and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship. |
また宝石を切りはめ、木を彫刻するなど、諸種の工作をさせるであろう。 |
| 31-6 |
And I, behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all that are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee: |
見よ、わたしはまたダンの部族に属するアヒサマクの子アホリアブを彼と共ならせ、そしてすべて賢い者の心に知恵を授け、わたしがあなたに命じたものを、ことごとく彼らに造らせるであろう。 |

the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy-seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the Tent, |
すなわち会見の幕屋、あかしの箱、その上にある贖罪所、幕屋のもろもろの器、 |
| 31-8 |
and the table and its vessels, and the pure candlestick with all its vessels, and the altar of incense, |
机とその器、純金の燭台と、そのもろもろの器、香の祭壇、 |
| 31-9 |
and the altar of burnt-offering with all its vessels, and the laver and its base, |
燔祭の祭壇とそのもろもろの器、洗盤とその台、 |
| 31-10 |
and the finely wrought garments, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office, |
編物の服、すなわち祭司の務をするための祭司アロンの聖なる服、およびその子たちの服、 |
| 31-11 |
and the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do. |
注ぎ油、聖所のための香ばしい香などを、すべてわたしがあなたに命じたように造らせるであろう」。 |
| 31-12 |
And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, |
主はまたモーセに言われた、 |
| 31-13 |
Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily ye shall keep my sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Jehovah who sanctifieth you. |
「あなたはイスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『あなたがたは必ずわたしの安息日を守らなければならない。これはわたしとあなたがたとの間の、代々にわたるしるしであって、わたしがあなたがたを聖別する主であることを、知らせるためのものである。 |
| 31-14 |
Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that profaneth it shall surely be put to death; for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. |
それゆえ、あなたがたは安息日を守らなければならない。これはあなたがたに聖なる日である。すべてこれを汚す者は必ず殺され、すべてこの日に仕事をする者は、民のうちから断たれるであろう。 |
| 31-15 |
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Jehovah: whosoever doeth any work on the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. |
六日のあいだは仕事をしなさい。七日目は全き休みの安息日で、主のために聖である。すべて安息日に仕事をする者は必ず殺されるであろう。 |
| 31-16 |
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. |
ゆえに、イスラエルの人々は安息日を覚え、永遠の契約として、代々安息日を守らなければならない。 |
| 31-17 |
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. |
これは永遠にわたしとイスラエルの人々との間のしるしである。それは主が六日のあいだに天地を造り、七日目に休み、かつ、いこわれたからである』」。 |
| 31-18 |
And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God. |
主はシナイ山でモーセに語り終えられたとき、あかしの板二枚、すなわち神が指をもって書かれた石の板をモーセに授けられた。 |
