12-1 The word of Jehovah also came unto me, saying, 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
12-2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of the rebellious house, that have eyes to see, and see not, that have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious house. 「人の子よ、あなたは反逆の家の中にいる。彼らは見る目があるが見ず、聞く耳があるが聞かず、彼らは反逆の家である。
12-3 Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house. それゆえ、人の子よ、捕囚の荷物を整え、彼らの目の前で昼のうちに移れ、彼らの目の前であなたの所から他の所に移れ。彼らは反逆の家であるが、あるいは彼らは顧みるところがあろう。
12-4 And thou shalt bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing; and thou shalt go forth thyself at even in their sight, as when men go forth into exile. あなたは、捕囚の荷物のようなあなたの荷物を、彼らの目の前で昼のうちに持ち出せ。そして捕囚に行くべき人々のように、彼らの目の前で夕べのうちに出て行け。
12-5 Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby. すなわち彼らの目の前で壁に穴をあけ、そこから出て行け。
12-6 In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulder, and carry it forth in the dark; thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the land: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel. あなたは彼らの目の前でその荷物を肩に負い、やみのうちにそれを運び出せ。あなたの顔をおおって地を見るな。わたしはあなたをしるしとなして、イスラエルの家に示すのだ」。
12-7 And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for removing, and in the even I digged through the wall with my hand; I brought it forth in the dark, and bare it upon my shoulder in their sight. そこでわたしは命じられたようにし、捕囚の荷物のような荷物を昼のうちに持ち出し、夕べにはわたしの手で壁に穴をあけ、やみのうちに彼らの目の前で、これを肩に負って運び出した。
12-8 And in the morning came the word of Jehovah unto me, saying, 次の朝、主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
12-9 Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou? 「人の子よ、反逆の家であるイスラエルの家は、あなたに向かって、『何をしているのか』と言わなかったか。
12-10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are. あなたは彼らに言いなさい、『主なる神はこう言われる、この託宣はエルサレムの君、およびその中にあるイスラエルの全家にかかわるものである』と。
12-11 Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them; they shall go into exile, into captivity. また言いなさい、『わたしはあなたがたのしるしである。わたしがしたとおりに彼らもされる。彼らはとりこにされて移される』と。
12-12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the dark, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, because he shall not see the land with his eyes. 彼らのうちの君は、やみのうちにその荷物を肩に載せて出て行く。彼は壁に穴をあけて、そこから出て行く。彼は顔をおおって、自分の目でこの地を見ない。
12-13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there. わたしはわたしの網を彼の上に打ちかける。彼はわたしのわなにかかる。わたしは彼をカルデヤびとの地のバビロンに引いて行く。しかし彼はそれを見ないで、そこで死ぬであろう。
12-14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are round about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them. またすべて彼の周囲にいて彼を助ける者および彼の軍隊を、わたしは四方に散らし、つるぎを抜いてそのあとを追う。
12-15 And they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall disperse them among the nations, and scatter them through the countries. わたしが彼らを諸国民の中に散らし、国々にまき散らすとき、彼らはわたしが主であることを知る。
12-16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the nations whither they come; and they shall know that I am Jehovah. ただし、わたしは彼らのうちに、わずかの者を残して、つるぎと、ききんと、疫病を免れさせ、彼らがおこなったもろもろの憎むべきことを、彼らが行く国びとの中に告白させよう。そして彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる」。
12-17 Moreover the word of Jehovah came to me, saying, 主の言葉がまたわたしに臨んだ、
12-18 Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with fearfulness; 「人の子よ、震えてあなたのパンを食べ、おののきと恐れとをもって水を飲め。
12-19 and say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and despoiled of all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein. そしてこの地の民について言え、主なる神はイスラエルの地のエルサレムの民についてこう言われる、彼らは恐れをもってそのパンを食べ、驚きをもってその水を飲むようになる。これはその地が、すべてその中に住む者の暴虐のために衰え、荒れ地となるからである。
12-20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be a desolation; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. 人の住んでいた町々は荒れはて、地は荒塚となる。そしてあなたがたは、わたしが主であることを知るようになる」。
12-21 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
12-22 Son of man, what is this proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? 「人の子よ、イスラエルの地について、あなたがたが『日は延び、すべての幻はむなしくなった』という、このことわざはなんであるか。
12-23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the fulfilment of every vision. それゆえ、彼らに言え、『主なる神はこう言われる、わたしはこのことわざをやめさせ、彼らが再びイスラエルで、これをことわざとしないようにする』と。しかし、あなたは彼らに言え、『日とすべての幻の実現とは近づいた』と。
12-24 For there shall be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. イスラエルの家のうちには、もはやむなしい幻も、偽りの占いもなくなる。
12-25 For I am Jehovah; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed; it shall be no more deferred: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I speak the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord Jehovah. しかし主なるわたしは、わが語るべきことを語り、それは必ず成就する。決して延びることはない。ああ、反逆の家よ、あなたの日にわたしはこれを語り、これを成就すると、主なる神は言われる」。
12-26 Again the word of Jehovah came to me, saying, 主の言葉がまたわたしに臨んだ、
12-27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of times that are far off. 「人の子よ、見よ、イスラエルの家は言う、『彼の見る幻は、なお多くの日の後の事である。彼が預言することは遠い後の時のことである』と。
12-28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: There shall none of my words be deferred any more, but the word which I shall speak shall be performed, saith the Lord Jehovah. それゆえ、彼らに言え、主なる神はこう言われる、わたしの言葉はもはや延びない。わたしの語る言葉は成就すると、主なる神は言われる」。
