| 13-1 |
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, |
主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、 |
| 13-2 |
Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Jehovah: |
「人の子よ、イスラエルの預言者たちに向かって預言せよ。すなわち自分の心のままに預言する人々に向かって、預言して言え、『あなたがたは主の言葉を聞け』。 |
| 13-3 |
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! |
主なる神はこう言われる、なにも見ないで、自分の霊に従う愚かな預言者たちはわざわいだ。 |
| 13-4 |
4 O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in the waste places. |
イスラエルよ、あなたの預言者たちは、荒れ跡にいるきつねのようだ。 |
| 13-5 |
Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Jehovah. |
あなたがたは主の日に戦いに立つため、破れ口にのぼらず、またイスラエルの家のために石がきを築こうともしない。 |
| 13-6 |
They have seen falsehood and lying divination, that say, Jehovah saith; but Jehovah hath not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed. |
彼らは虚偽を言い、偽りを占った。彼らは主が彼らをつかわさないのに『主が言われる』と言い、なおその言葉の成就することを期待する。 |
| 13-7 |
Have ye not seen a false vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, in that ye say, Jehovah saith; albeit I have not spoken? |
あなたがたはむなしい幻を見、偽りの占いを語り、わたしが言わないのに『主が言われる』と言ったではないか」。 |
| 13-8 |
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、「あなたがたはむなしいことを語り、偽りの物を見るゆえ、わたしはあなたがたを罰すると主なる神は言われる。 |
| 13-9 |
And my hand shall be against the prophets that see false visions, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah. |
わたしの手は、むなしい幻を見、偽りの占いを言う預言者に敵対する。彼らはわが民の会に臨まず、イスラエルの家の籍にしるされず、イスラエルの地に、はいることができない。そしてあなたがたはわたしが主なる神であることを知るようになる。 |
| 13-10 |
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one buildeth up a wall, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar: |
彼らはわが民を惑わし、平和がないのに『平和』と言い、また民が塀を築く時、これらの預言者たちは水しっくいをもってこれを塗る。 |
| 13-11 |
say unto them that daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. |
それゆえ、水しっくいを塗る者どもに『これはかならずくずれる』と言え。これに大雨が注ぎ、ひょうが降り、あらしが吹く。 |
| 13-12 |
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? |
そして塀がくずれる時、人々はあなたがたに向かって、『あなたがたが塗った水しっくいはどこにあるか』と言わないであろうか。 |
| 13-13 |
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it. |
それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、わたしはわが憤りをもって大風を起し、わが怒りをもって大雨を注がせ、憤りをもってひょうを降らせて、これを滅ぼす。 |
| 13-14 |
So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. |
またわたしはあなたがたが水しっくいをもって塗った塀をこわして、これを地に倒し、その基をあらわす。これが倒れる時、あなたがたはその中に滅びる。そしてあなたがたは、わたしが主であることを知るようになる。 |
| 13-15 |
Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered mortar; and I will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; |
こうしてわたしが、その塀と、これを水しっくいで塗った者との上に、わたしの憤りを漏らし尽して、あなたがたに言う、塀はなくなり、これを塗った者もなくなる。 |
| 13-16 |
to wit, the prophets of Israel that prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and that see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
これがすなわち平和がないのに平和の幻を見、エルサレムについて預言したイスラエルの預言者であると、主なる神は言われる。 |
| 13-17 |
And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, that prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, |
人の子よ、心のままに預言するあなたの民の娘たちに対して、あなたの顔を向け、彼らに向かって預言して、 |
| 13-18 |
and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the women that sew pillows upon all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves? |
言え、主なる神はこう言われる、手の節々に占いひもを縫いつけ、もろもろの大きさの人の頭に、かぶり物を作りかぶせて、魂をかり取ろうとする女はわざわいだ。あなたがたは、わが民の魂をかり取って、あなたがたの利益のために、他の魂を生かしおこうとするのか。 |
| 13-19 |
And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hearken unto lies. |
あなたがたは少しばかりの大麦のため、少しばかりのパンのために、わが民のうちに、わたしを汚し、かの偽りを聞きいれるわが民に偽りを述べて、死んではならない者を死なせ、生きていてはならない者を生かす。 |
| 13-20 |
Wherefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. |
それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、見よ、わたしはあなたがたが用いて、魂をかり取るところの占いひもを奪い、あなたがたの腕から占いひもを裂き取って、あなたがたがかり取るところの魂を、鳥のように放ちやる。 |
| 13-21 |
Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. |
わたしはまたあなたがたの、かぶり物を裂き、わが民をあなたがたの手から救う。彼らは再びあなたがたの獲物とはならない。そしてあなたがたはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。 |
| 13-22 |
Because with lies ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive: |
あなたがたは偽りをもって正しい者の心を悩ました。わたしはこれを悩まさなかった。またあなたがたは悪人が、その命を救うために、その悪しき道から離れようとする時、それをしないように勧める。 |
| 13-23 |
Therefore ye shall no more see false visions, nor divine divinations: and I will deliver my people out of your hand; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. |
それゆえ、あなたがたは重ねてむなしい幻を見ることができず、占いをすることができないようになる。わたしはわが民を、あなたがたの手から救い出す。そのとき、あなたがたはわたしが主であることを知るようになる」。 |
