| 25-1 |
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, |
主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、 |
| 25-2 |
Son of man, set thy face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them: |
「人の子よ、あなたの顔をアンモンの人々に向け、これに向かって預言し、 |
| 25-3 |
and say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity: |
アンモンの人々に言え。主なる神の言葉を聞け。主なる神はこう言われる、あなたはわが聖所の汚された時、またイスラエルの地の荒された時、またユダの家が捕え移された時、ああ、それはよい気味であると言った。 |
| 25-4 |
therefore, behold, I will deliver thee to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk. |
それゆえ、わたしはあなたを、東の人々に渡して彼らの所有とする。彼らはあなたのうちに陣営を設け、あなたのうちに住居を造り、あなたのくだものを食べ、あなたの乳を飲む。 |
| 25-5 |
And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a couching-place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. |
わたしはラバを、らくだを飼う所とし、アンモンびとの町々を、羊の伏す所とする。そしてあなたがたは、わたしが主であることを知るようになる。 |
| 25-6 |
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of thy soul against the land of Israel; |
主なる神はこう言われる、あなたはイスラエルの地に向かって手をうち、足を踏み、心に悪意を満たして喜んだ。 |
| 25-7 |
therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the peoples, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah. |
それゆえ、見よ、わたしはわが手をあなたに向けて伸べ、あなたを、もろもろの国民に渡して略奪にあわせ、あなたを、もろもろの民の中から断ち、諸国の中から滅ぼし絶やす。そしてあなたは、わたしが主であることを知るようになる。 |
| 25-8 |
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations; |
主なる神はわたしにこう言われる、モアブは言った、見よ、ユダの家は、他のすべての国民と同様であると。 |
| 25-9 |
therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim, |
それゆえ、わたしはモアブの境界の町々、すなわち国の栄えであるベテエシモテ、バアルメオン、キリアタイムの横腹を開き、 |

unto the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations. |
これをアンモンの人々と共に、東方の人々に与えて、その所有とし、モアブの人々をもろもろの国民の中に記憶させない。 |
| 25-11 |
and I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am Jehovah. |
わたしはモアブの上にさばきを行う。そのとき、彼らはわたしが主であることを知る。 |
| 25-12 |
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; |
主なる神はこう言われる、エドムは恨みをふくんでユダの家に敵対し、これに恨みを返して、はなはだしく罪を犯した。 |
| 25-13 |
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, I will stretch out my hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword. |
それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、わたしはエドムの上に手を伸べて、その中から人と獣とを断ち、これを荒れ地とする。テマンからデダンまで人々はつるぎに倒れる。 |
| 25-14 |
And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
わたしはわが民イスラエルの手をもって、エドムにわがあだを報いる。彼らがわが怒り、わが憤りに従ってエドムに行う時、エドムの人々は、わたしがあだを返すことを知るようになると、主なる神は言われる。 |
| 25-15 |
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity; |
主なる神はこう言われる、ペリシテびとは恨みをふくんで行動し、心に悪意をもってあだを返し、深い敵意をもって、滅ぼすことをした。 |
| 25-16 |
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I will stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. |
それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、見よ、わたしは手をペリシテびとの上に伸べ、ケレテびとを断ち、海べの残りの者を滅ぼす。 |
| 25-17 |
And I will execute great vengeance upon them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them. |
わたしは怒りに満ちた懲罰をもって、大いなる復讐を彼らになす。わたしが彼らにあだを返す時、彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる」。 |
