And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, |

| 32-2 |
Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou wast likened unto a young lion of the nations: yet art thou as a monster in the seas; and thou didst break forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers. |
「人の子よ、エジプトの王パロのために、悲しみの歌をのべて、これに言え、あなたは自分をもろもろの国民のうちのししであると考えているが、あなたは海の中の龍のような者である。あなたは川の中に、はね起き、足で水をかきまぜ、川を濁す。 |
| 32-3 |
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will spread out my net upon thee with a company of many peoples; and they shall bring thee up in my net. |
主なる神はこう言われる、わたしは多くの民の集団をもって、わたしの網をあなたに投げかけ、あなたを網で引きあげる。 |
| 32-4 |
And I will leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the birds of the heavens to settle upon thee, and I will satisfy the beasts of the whole earth with thee. |
わたしはあなたを地に投げ捨て、野の面に投げうち、空のすべての鳥をあなたの上にとまらせ、全地の獣にあなたを与えて飽かせる。 |
| 32-5 |
And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height. |
わたしはあなたの肉を山々に捨て、あなたの死体で谷を満たす。 |
| 32-6 |
I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the watercourses shall be full of thee. |
わたしはあなたの流れる血で、地を潤し、山々にまで及ぼす。谷川はあなたの死体で満ちる。 |
| 32-7 |
And when I shall extinguish thee, I will cover the heavens, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light. |
わたしはあなたを滅ぼす時、空をおおい、星を暗くし、雲で日をおおい、月に光を放たせない。 |
| 32-8 |
All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
わたしは空の輝く光を、ことごとくあなたの上に暗くし、あなたの国をやみとすると主なる神は言う。 |
| 32-9 |
I will also vex the hearts of many peoples, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known. |
わたしはもろもろの国民、あなたの知らない国々の中に、あなたを捕え移す時、多くの民の心を痛ませる。 |
| 32-10 |
Yea, I will make many peoples amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. |
わたしはあなたについて、多くの民を驚かせる。その王たちは、わたしがわたしのつるぎを、彼らの前に振るう時、あなたの事でおののく。あなたの倒れる日には、彼らはおのおの自分の命を思って、絶えず打ち震える。 |
| 32-11 |
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee. |
主なる神はこう言われる、バビロンの王のつるぎはあなたに臨む。 |
| 32-12 |
By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall; the terrible of the nations are they all: and they shall bring to nought the pride of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed. |
わたしはあなたの民衆を勇士のつるぎに倒れさせる。彼らは皆、もろもろの国民の中で、最も恐れられている者たちである。彼らはエジプトの誇を断つ、エジプトの民衆は皆滅ぼされる。 |
| 32-13 |
I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside many waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them. |
わたしはその家畜をことごとく、多くの水のかたわらから滅ぼす。人の足は再びこれを濁さず、家畜のひずめもこれを乱さない。 |
| 32-14 |
Then will I make their waters clear, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
その時わたしはその水を清くし、その川々を油のように流れさせると、主なる神は言う。 |
| 32-15 |
When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate and waste, a land destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am Jehovah. |
わたしはエジプトの国を荒し、その国に満ちるものが、ことごとく取り去られる時、わたしがその中に住む者をことごとく撃つ時、彼らはわたしが主であることを知る。 |
| 32-16 |
This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament; the daughters of the nations shall lament therewith; over Egypt, and over all her multitude, shall they lament therewith, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
これは悲しみの歌である。人々はこれを歌い、もろもろの国の娘たちはこれを歌う。すなわちエジプトと、そのすべての民衆とのために、これを歌うのであると、主なる神は言われる」。 |
| 32-17 |
It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, |
第十二年の一月十五日に、主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、 |
| 32-18 |
Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit. |
「人の子よ、エジプトの民衆のために嘆き、これと大いなる国々の娘らとを、下の国に投げ下し、穴に下った者のところに至らせよ。 |
| 32-19 |
Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised. |
『あなたの美はだれにまさっているか。下って、割礼を受けない者と共に伏せよ』。 |
| 32-20 |
They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword; draw her away and all her multitudes. |
彼らはつるぎに殺される者のうちに倒れる。その民衆はこれと共に伏せる。 |
| 32-21 |
The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of Sheol with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie still, even the uncircumcised, slain by the sword. |
勇士の首領はその助け手と共に、陰府の中から彼らに言う、『割礼を受けない者、つるぎに殺された者は下って伏している』と。 |
| 32-22 |
Asshur is there and all her company; her graves are round about her; all of them slain, fallen by the sword; |
アッスリヤとその仲間とはその所におり、その墓はこれを囲む。彼らはみな殺された者、またつるぎに倒れた者である。 |
| 32-23 |
whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the pit, and her company is round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living. |
彼らの墓は穴の奥に設けられ、その仲間はその墓の周囲にあり、これはみな殺された者、つるぎに倒れた者、生ける者の地に恐れを起した者である。 |
| 32-24 |
There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living, and have borne their shame with them that go down to the pit. |
その所にエラムがおり、その民衆は皆、その墓の周囲におる。彼らはみな殺された者、つるぎに倒れた者、割礼を受けないで、下の国に下った者、生ける者の地に、恐れを起した者で、穴に下る者と共に、恥を負うのである。 |

They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude; her graves are round about her; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for their terror was caused in the land of the living, and they have borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that are slain. |
彼らはそのすべての民衆と共に、殺された者の中に床を置き、その墓はこれを囲む。これは皆、割礼を受けない者、つるぎに殺された者、生ける者の地に恐れを起した者で、穴に下る者と共に恥を負う。彼らは殺された者の中に置かれている。 |
| 32-26 |
There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; their graves are round about them; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for they caused their terror in the land of the living. |
その所にメセクとトバル、およびすべての民衆がおる。その墓はこれを囲む。彼らは皆、割礼を受けない者で、つるぎで殺された者である。生ける者の地に恐れを起したからである。 |
| 32-27 |
And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, that are gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, and have laid their swords under their heads, and their iniquities are upon their bones; for they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. |
彼らは昔の倒れた勇士と共に伏さない。これらの勇士は、武具を持って陰府に下り、つるぎをまくらとし、その盾は骨の上にある。これは勇士の恐れが、生ける者の地にあったからである。 |
| 32-28 |
But thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them that are slain by the sword. |
あなたは割礼を受けない者のうちに、つるぎで殺された者と共に横たわる。 |
| 32-29 |
There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who in their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit. |
その所にエドムとその王たちと、そのすべての君たちがおる。彼らはその力を持つにもかかわらず、かのつるぎで殺された者と共に横たえられ、割礼を受けない者および穴に下る者と共に伏している。 |
| 32-30 |
There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who are gone down with the slain; in the terror which they caused by their might they are put to shame; and they lie uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit. |
その所に北の君たち、およびシドンびとが皆おる。彼らは自分の力によって恐れを起したので、殺された者と共に恥を受けて、下って行った者である。彼らはつるぎで殺された者と共に、割礼を受けずに伏し、穴に下る者と共に恥を負う。 |
| 32-31 |
Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
パロは彼らを見る時、そのすべての民衆について慰められる。パロとそのすべての軍勢とは、つるぎで殺されると、主なる神は言われる。 |
| 32-32 |
For I have put his terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, with them that are slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
彼は生ける者の国に恐れを広げた。それゆえ、パロとすべての民衆とは、割礼を受けない者のうちにあって、つるぎで殺された者と共に伏すと、主なる神は言われる」。 |
