Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east. |

And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shined with his glory. |
その時、見よ、イスラエルの神の栄光が、東の方から来たが、その来る響きは、大水の響きのようで、地はその栄光で輝いた。 |

And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. |

And the glory of Jehovah came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. |

And the Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of Jehovah filled the house. |

And I heard one speaking unto me out of the house; and a man stood by me. |
その人がわたしのかたわらに立った時、わたしはひとりの人が、宮の中からわたしに語るのを聞いた。 |

And he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places; |
彼はわたしに言った、「人の子よ、これはわたしの位のある所、わたしの足の裏の踏む所、わたしが永久にイスラエルの人々の中に住む所である。またイスラエルの家は、民もその王たちも、再び姦淫と、王たちの死体とをもって、わが聖なる名を汚さない。 |

in their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their door-post beside my door-post, and there was but the wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger. |
彼らはその敷居を、わが敷居のかたわらに設け、その門柱を、わが門柱のかたわらに設けたので、わたしと彼らとの間には、わずかに壁があるのみである。そして彼らは、その犯した憎むべき事をもって、わが聖なる名を汚したので、わたしは怒りをもって、これを滅ぼした。 |

Now let them put away their whoredom, and the dead bodies of their kings, far from me; and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever. |
今彼らに命じて姦淫と、その王たちの死体を、わたしから遠く取り除かせよ。そうしたら、わたしは永久に彼らの中に住む。 |
| 43-10 |
Thou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern. |
人の子よ、宮と、その外形と、設計とをイスラエルの家に示せ。彼らはその悪を恥じるであろう。 |

And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, make known unto them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the egresses thereof, and the entrances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof; and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. |
彼らがその犯したすべての事を恥じたら、彼らに、この宮の建て方、設備、出口、入口、すべての形式、すべてのおきて、すべての規定を示せ。これを彼らの目の前に書き、彼らにそのすべての規定と、おきてとを守り行わせよ。 |

This is the law of the house: upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house. |
宮の規定はこれである。山の頂の四方の地域はみな最も聖である。見よ、これは宮の規定である。 |

And these are the measures of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a handbreadth): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about a span; and this shall be the base of the altar. |
祭壇の寸法はキュビトですれば、次のようである。（そのキュビトは一キュビトと一手幅である。）土台は高さ一キュビト、幅一キュビト、その周囲の縁は半キュビトである。 |

And from the bottom upon the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the breadth a cubit. |
祭壇の高さは、次のとおりである。地面の土台から下のかさねまで二キュビト、幅は一キュビト、また小さいかさねから大きいかさねまで四キュビト、その幅は一キュビトである。 |

And the upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns. |
祭壇の炉は四キュビトで、祭壇の炉から高さ一キュビトの角が四本出ていた。 |

And the altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve broad, square in the four sides thereof. |
炉は長さ十二キュビト、幅十二キュビトの四角形である。 |

And the ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen broad in the four sides thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit round about; and the steps thereof shall look toward the east. |
そのかさねは四方とも長さ十四キュビト、幅十四キュビトの四角形、その周囲の縁は幅半キュビト、その台は四方一キュビト、その階段は東に面する」。 |

And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt-offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon. |
彼はわたしに言った、「人の子よ、主なる神はこう言われる、祭壇を建て、その上に燔祭をささげ、これに血を注ぐ日には、次のことを祭壇の定めとせよ。 |

Thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that are of the seed of Zadok, who are near unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord Jehovah, a young bullock for a sin-offering. |
すなわち主なる神は言われる、ザドクの子孫で、わたしに近く仕えるレビびとである祭司には、罪祭のために雄牛の子を与えよ。 |

And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse it and make atonement for it. |
またその血をとって、これを祭壇の四つの角と、かさねの四すみと、周囲の縁に塗って、祭壇を清め、これをあがなえ。 |

Thou shalt also take the bullock of the sin-offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary. |
あなたはまた罪祭の牛をとって、これを聖所の外、宮のうちの定められた所で焼け。 |
| 43-22 |
And on the second day thou shalt offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin-offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock. |
第二日に、あなたは無傷の雄やぎを、罪祭としてささげよ。すなわち雄牛で清めたように、これで祭壇を清めよ。 |

When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish. |
清めごとを終えたなら、無傷の雄牛の子と、群れの中の無傷の雄羊とをささげよ。 |
| 43-24 |
And thou shalt bring them near before Jehovah, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt-offering unto Jehovah. |
これを主の前に持ってきて、祭司らはその上に塩をまき、これらを燔祭として主にささげよ。 |
| 43-25 |
Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin-offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish. |
七日の間、あなたは日々雄やぎを罪祭とせよ。また雄牛の子と、群れの中の雄羊との無傷のものをととのえ、 |

Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it. |
七日の間、彼らは祭壇をあがない、これを清め、これを聖別しなければならない。 |

And when they have accomplished the days, it shall be that upon the eighth day, and forward, the priests shall make your burnt-offerings upon the altar, and your peace-offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
彼らがこれらの日を満たしたとき、八日目から後は、祭司たちは、あなたがたの燔祭と、酬恩祭とを祭壇の上に供える。そうすれば、わたしは、あなたがたを受けいれると、主なる神は言われる」。 |
