48-1 Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar-enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they shall have their sides east and west,) Dan, one portion. イスラエルの部族の名は次のとおりである。北の果からヘテロンの道を経て、ハマテの入口に至り、ハマテに相対するダマスコの北の境にあるハザル・エノンに及び、東の方から西の方へのびる地方、これがダンの分である。
48-2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher, one portion. ダンの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方へのびる地方、これがアセルの分である。
48-3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, Naphtali, one portion. アセルの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方へのびる地方、これがナフタリの分である。
48-4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, Manasseh, one portion. ナフタリの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方へのびる地方、これがマナセの分である。
48-5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, Ephraim, one portion. マナセの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方へのびる地方、これがエフライムの分である。
48-6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, Reuben, one portion. エフライムの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方へのびる地方、これがルベンの分である。
48-7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, Judah, one portion. ルベンの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方へのびる地方、これがユダの分である。
48-8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the oblation which ye shall offer, five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it. ユダの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方へのびる地方は、あなたがたのささげる献納地とせよ。その幅は二万五千キュビト、その東の方から西の方へのびる長さは、部族の一つの分に同じで、聖所はその中にある。
48-9 The oblation that ye shall offer unto Jehovah shall be five and twenty thousand reeds in length, and ten thousand in breadth. すなわちあなたがたの主にささげる献納地は長さ二万五千キュビト、幅二万キュビトとである。
48-10 And for these, even for the priests, shall be the holy oblation: toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of Jehovah shall be in the midst thereof. これが祭司への聖なる献納地である。すなわち祭司の分は、北は二万五千キュビト、西は幅一万キュビト、東は幅一万キュビト、南は長さ二万五千キュビトである。主の聖所はその中にある。
48-11 It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, that have kept my charge, that went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray. これはイスラエルの人々が迷い出た時、レビびとが迷ったように迷ったことはなく、わが務を守り通したザドクの子孫のうちから、聖別された祭司に属する。
48-12 And it shall be unto them an oblation from the oblation of the land, a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites. このようにレビびとの境に沿って、いと聖なる地、すなわち聖なる献納地が、特別な分として彼らに帰属する。
48-13 And answerable unto the border of the priests, the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand. レビびとの分は祭司の所有地の境に沿って、長さ二万五千キュビト、幅一万キュビト、すなわち、そのすべての長さ二万五千キュビト、幅二万キュビトである。
48-14 And they shall sell none of it, nor exchange it, nor shall the first-fruits of the land be alienated; for it is holy unto Jehovah. 彼らはこれを売ってはならない、また交換してはならない、またその大事な分を手ばなしてはならない。これは主に属する聖なる物だからである。
48-15 And the five thousand that are left in the breadth, in front of the five and twenty thousand, shall be for common use, for the city, for dwelling and for suburbs; and the city shall be in the midst thereof. その残りの地すなわち幅五千キュビト、長さ二万五千キュビトは町のため、すみかのため、また郊外のための一般人の地所とせよ。町はその中に置け。
48-16 And these shall be the measures thereof: the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred. 一般人の地所の広さは次のとおりである。すなわち北の方四千五百キュビト、南の方四千五百キュビト、東の方四千五百キュビト、西の方四千五百キュビトである。
48-17 And the city shall have suburbs: toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty. 町は郊外を含む。郊外は北二百五十キュビト、南二百五十キュビト、東二百五十キュビト、西二百五十キュビトである。
48-18 And the residue in the length, answerable unto the holy oblation, shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward; and it shall be answerable unto the holy oblation; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that labor in the city. 聖なる献納地に沿っている残りの地の長さは東へ一万キュビト、西へ一万キュビトである。これは聖なる献納地に沿っており、その産物は町の働き人の食物となる。
48-19 And they that labor in the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall till it. 町の働き人は、イスラエルのすべての部族から出て、これを耕作するのである。
48-20 All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation four-square, with the possession of the city. あなたがたがささげる献納地の全体は二万五千キュビト四方である。これは町の所有地と共に聖なる献納地である。
48-21 And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation and of the possession of the city; in front of the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward in front of the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, answerable unto the portions, it shall be for the prince: and the holy oblation and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof. 聖なる献納地と町の所有地との、こなたかなたの残りの地は、君たる者に属する。これは聖なる献納地の二万五千キュビトに面して東の境に至り、西はその二万五千キュビトに面して西の境に至り、部族の分に沿うもので、君たる者に属する。聖なる献納地と、宮の聖所とは、その中にある。
48-22 Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince’s, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, it shall be for the prince. 町の所有地は、君たる者に属する部分の中にあり、そして君たる者の分は、ユダの領地と、ベニヤミンの領地との間にある。
48-23 And as for the rest of the tribes: from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin, one portion. なお残りの部族では東の方から西の方に至る地方、これがベニヤミンの分である。
48-24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon, one portion. ベニヤミンの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方に至る地方、これがシメオンの分である。
48-25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar, one portion. シメオンの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方に至る地方、これがイッサカルの分である。
48-26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun, one portion. イッサカルの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方に至る地方、これがゼブルンの分である。
48-27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad, one portion. ゼブルンの領地に沿って、東の方から西の方に至る地方、これがガドの分である。
48-28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, unto the great sea. 南の方はガドの領地に沿って、タマルからメリボテ・カデシの水に至り、そこからエジプトの川に沿って大海に至る。
48-29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their several portions, saith the Lord Jehovah. これはあなたがたが、くじをもってイスラエルの部族のうちに分けて、嗣業とすべき地である。これが彼らの分であると、主なる神は言われる。
48-30 And these are the egresses of the city: On the north side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure; 町の出口は次のとおりである。北の方の長さは四千五百キュビトである。
48-31 and the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel, three gates northward: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one. 町の門はイスラエルの部族の名にしたがい、三つの門になっている。すなわちルベンの門、ユダの門、レビの門である。
48-32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred reeds, and three gates: even the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one. 東の方は四千五百キュビトであって、三つの門がある。すなわちヨセフの門、ベニヤミンの門、ダンの門である。
48-33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure, and three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one. 南の方は四千五百キュビトであって、三つの門がある。すなわちシメオンの門、イッサカルの門、ゼブルンの門である。
48-34 At the west side four thousand and five hundred reeds, with their three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one. 西の方は四千五百キュビトであって、三つの門がある。すなわちガドの門、アセルの門、ナフタリの門である。
48-35 It shall be eighteen thousand reeds round about: and the name of the city from that day shall be, Jehovah is there. 町の周囲は一万八千キュビトあり、この日から後、この町の名は『主そこにいます』と呼ばれる」。
