| 101-1 |
I will sing of lovingkindness and justice: Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I sing praises. |
わたしはいつくしみと公義について歌います。主よ、わたしはあなたにむかって歌います。 |
| 101-2 |
I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. |
わたしは全き道に心をとめます。あなたはいつ、わたしに来られるでしょうか。わたしは直き心をもって、わが家のうちを歩みます。 |

I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me. |
わたしは目の前に卑しい事を置きません。わたしはそむく者の行いを憎みます。それはわたしに付きまといません。 |

A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing. |
ひがんだ心はわたしを離れるでしょう。わたしは悪い事を知りません。 |
| 101-5 |
Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I destroy: Him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer. |
ひそかに、その隣り人をそしる者をわたしは滅ぼします。高ぶる目と高慢な心の人を耐え忍ぶ事はできません。 |

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me. |
わたしは国のうちの忠信な者に好意を寄せ、わたしと共に住まわせます。全き道を歩む者はわたしに仕えるでしょう。 |

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: He that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes. |
欺くことをする者はわが家のうちに住むことができません。偽りを言う者はわが目の前に立つことができません。 |
| 101-8 |
Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; To cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah. |
わたしは朝ごとに国の悪しき者をことごとく滅ぼし、不義を行う者をことごとく主の都から断ち除きます。 |
