| 11-1 |
In Jehovah do I take refuge: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain; |
わたしは主に寄り頼む。なにゆえ、あなたがたはわたしにむかって言うのか、「鳥のように山にのがれよ。 |
| 11-2 |
For, lo, the wicked bend the bow, They make ready their arrow upon the string, That they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart; |
見よ、悪しき者は、暗やみで、心の直き者を射ようと弓を張り、弦に矢をつがえている。 |

If the foundations be destroyed, What can the righteous do? |
基が取りこわされるならば、正しい者は何をなし得ようか」と。 |

Jehovah is in his holy temple; Jehovah, his throne is in heaven;His eyes
behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. |
主はその聖なる宮にいまし、主のみくらは天にあり、その目は人の子らをみそなわし、そのまぶたは人の子らを調べられる。 |
| 11-5 |
Jehovah trieth the righteous; But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. |
主は正しき者をも、悪しき者をも調べ、そのみ心は乱暴を好む者を憎まれる。 |
| 11-6 |
Upon the wicked he will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup. |
主は悪しき者の上に炭火と硫黄とを降らせられる。燃える風は彼らがその杯にうくべきものである。 |
| 11-7 |
For Jehovah is righteous; he loveth righteousness: The upright shall behold his face. |
主は正しくいまして、正しい事を愛されるからである。直き者は主のみ顔を仰ぎ見るであろう。 |
