| 132-1 |
Jehovah, remember for David. All his affliction; |
主よ、ダビデのために、そのもろもろの辛苦をみこころにとめてください。 |

How he sware unto Jehovah, And vowed unto the Mighty One of Jacob: |
ダビデは主に誓い、ヤコブの全能者に誓いを立てて言いました、 |
| 132-3 |
Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, Nor go up into my bed; |
「わたしは主のために所を捜し出し、ヤコブの全能者のためにすまいを求め得るまでは、わが家に入らず、わが寝台に上らず、わが目に眠りを与えず、わがまぶたにまどろみを与えません」。 |

I will not give sleep to mine eyes, Or slumber to mine eyelids; |
| 132-5 |
Until I find out a place for Jehovah, A tabernacle for the Mighty One of Jacob. |

Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah: We found it in the field of the wood. |
見よ、われらはエフラタでそれを聞き、ヤアルの野でそれを見とめた。 |

We will go into his tabernacles; We will worship at his footstool. |
「われらはそのすまいへ行って、その足台のもとにひれ伏そう」。 |

Arise, O Jehovah, into thy resting-place; Thou, and the ark of thy strength. |
主よ、起きて、あなたの力のはこと共に、あなたの安息所におはいりください。 |
| 132-9 |
Let thy priest be clothed with righteousness; And let thy saints shout for joy. |
あなたの祭司たちに義をまとわせ、あなたの聖徒たちに喜び呼ばわらせてください。 |

For thy servant David’s sake Turn not away the face of thine anointed. |
あなたのしもべダビデのために、あなたの油そそがれた者の顔を、しりぞけないでください。 |
| 132-11 |
Jehovah hath sworn unto David in truth; He will not turn from it: Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. |
主はまことをもってダビデに誓われたので、それにそむくことはない。すなわち言われた、「わたしはあなたの身から出た子のひとりを、あなたの位につかせる。 |

If thy children will keep my covenant .And my testimony that I shall teach them, Their children also shall sit upon thy throne for evermore. |
もしあなたの子らがわたしの教える契約と、あかしとを守るならば、その子らもまた、とこしえにあなたの位に座するであろう」。 |
| 132-13 |
For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for his habitation. |
主はシオンを選び、それをご自分のすみかにしようと望んで言われた、 |
| 132-14 |
This is my resting-place for ever: Here will I dwell; for I have desired it. |
「これはとこしえにわが安息所である。わたしはこれを望んだゆえ、ここに住む。 |

I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. |
わたしはシオンの糧食を豊かに祝福し、食物をもってその貧しい者を飽かせる。 |
| 132-16 |
Her priests also will I clothe with salvation; And her saints shall shout aloud for joy. |
またわたしはその祭司たちに救を着せる。その聖徒たちは声高らかに喜び呼ばわるであろう。 |

There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed. |
わたしはダビデのためにそこに一つの角をはえさせる。わたしはわが油そそがれた者のために一つのともしびを備えた。 |

His enemies will I clothe with shame; But upon himself shall his crown flourish. |
わたしは彼の敵に恥を着せる。しかし彼の上にはその冠が輝くであろう」。 |
