Praise ye Jehovah. Praise Jehovah, O my soul. |
主をほめたたえよ。わが魂よ、主をほめたたえよ。 |

While I live will I praise Jehovah: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. |
わたしは生けるかぎりは主をほめたたえ、ながらえる間は、わが神をほめうたおう。 |

Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. |
もろもろの君に信頼してはならない。人の子に信頼してはならない。彼らには助けがない。 |

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; In that very day his thoughts perish. |
その息が出ていけば彼は土に帰る。その日には彼のもろもろの計画は滅びる。 |

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Jehovah his God: |
ヤコブの神をおのが助けとし、その望みをおのが神、主におく人はさいわいである。 |

Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that in them is; Who keepeth truth for ever; |
主は天と地と、海と、その中にあるあらゆるものを造り、とこしえに真実を守り、 |

Who executeth justice for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners; |
しえたげられる者のためにさばきをおこない、飢えた者に食物を与えられる。主は捕われ人を解き放たれる。 |

Jehovah openeth the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raiseth up them that are bowed down; Jehovah loveth the righteous; |
主は盲人の目を開かれる。主はかがむ者を立たせられる。主は正しい者を愛される。 |
| 146-9 |
Jehovah preserveth the sojourners; He upholdeth the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. |
主は寄留の他国人を守り、みなしごと、やもめとをささえられる。しかし、悪しき者の道を滅びに至らせられる。 |
| 146-10 |
Jehovah will reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye Jehovah. |
主はとこしえに統べ治められる。シオンよ、あなたの神はよろず代まで統べ治められる。主をほめたたえよ。 |
