| 28-1 |
Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I call: My rock, be not thou deaf unto me; Lest, if thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit. |
主よ、わたしはあなたにむかって呼ばわります。わが岩よ、わたしにむかって耳しいとならないでください。もしあなたが黙っておられるならば、おそらく、わたしは墓に下る者と等しくなるでしょう。 |

Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. |
わたしがあなたにむかって助けを求め、あなたの至聖所にむかって手をあげるとき、わたしの願いの声を聞いてください。 |
| 28-3 |
Draw me not away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts. |
悪しき者および悪を行う者らと共にわたしを引き行かないでください。彼らはその隣り人とむつまじく語るけれども、その心には害悪をいだく者です。 |

Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings: Give them after the operation of their hands; Render to them their desert. |
どうぞ、そのわざにしたがい、その悪しき行いにしたがって彼らに報い、その手のわざにしたがって彼らに報い、その受くべき罰を彼らに与えてください。 |

Because they regard not the works of Jehovah, Nor the operation of his hands, He will break them down and not build them up. |
彼らは主のもろもろのみわざと、み手のわざとを顧みないゆえに、主は彼らを倒して、再び建てられることはない。 |

Blessed be Jehovah, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. |
主はほむべきかな。主はわたしの願いの声を聞かれた。 |
| 28-7 |
Jehovah is my strength and my shield; My heart hath trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; And with my song will I praise him. |
主はわが力、わが盾。わたしの心は主に寄り頼む。わたしは助けを得たので、わたしの心は大いに喜び、歌をもって主をほめたたえる。 |

Jehovah is their strength, And he is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed. |
主はその民の力、その油そそがれた者の救のとりでである。 |
| 28-9 |
Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: Be their shepherd also, and bear them up for ever. |
どうぞ、あなたの民を救い、あなたの嗣業を恵み、彼らの牧者となって、とこしえに彼らをいだき導いてください。 |
