| 30-1 |
I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. |
主よ、わたしはあなたをあがめます。あなたはわたしを引きあげ、敵がわたしの事によって喜ぶのを、ゆるされなかったからです。 |
| 30-2 |
O Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. |
わが神、主よ、わたしがあなたにむかって助けを叫び求めると、あなたはわたしをいやしてくださいました。 |
| 30-3 |
O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. |
主よ、あなたはわたしの魂を陰府からひきあげ、墓に下る者のうちから、わたしを生き返らせてくださいました。 |

Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his, And give thanks to his holy memorial name. |
主の聖徒よ、主をほめうたい、その聖なるみ名に感謝せよ。 |
| 30-5 |
For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy cometh in the morning. |
その怒りはただつかのまで、その恵みはいのちのかぎり長いからである。夜はよもすがら泣きかなしんでも、朝と共に喜びが来る。 |

As for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved. |
わたしは安らかな時に言った、「わたしは決して動かされることはない」と。 |

Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled. |
主よ、あなた恵みをもって、わたしをゆるがない山のように堅くされました。あなたがみ顔をかくされたので、わたしはおじ惑いました。 |

I cried to thee, O Jehovah; And unto Jehovah I made supplication: |
主よ、わたしはあなたに呼ばわりました。ひたすら主に請い願いました、 |
| 30-9 |
What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? |
「わたしが墓に下るならば、わたしの死になんの益があるでしょうか。ちりはあなたをほめたたえるでしょうか。あなたのまことをのべ伝えるでしょうか。 |

Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me: Jehovah, be thou my helper. |
主よ、聞いてください、わたしをあわれんでください。主よ、わたしの助けとなってください」と。 |
| 30-11 |
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; |
あなたはわたしのために、嘆きを踊りにかえ、荒布を解き、喜びをわたしの帯とされました。 |
| 30-12 |
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. |
これはわたしの魂があなたをほめたたえて、口をつぐむことのないためです。わが神、主よ、わたしはとこしえにあなたに感謝します。 |
