The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that doeth good. |
愚かな者は心のうちに「神はない」と言う。彼らは腐れはて、憎むべき不義をおこなった。善を行う者はない。 |

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God. |
神は天から人の子を見おろして、賢い者、神を尋ね求める者があるかないかを見られた。 |

Every one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one. |
彼らは皆そむき、みなひとしく堕落した。善を行う者はない、ひとりもない。 |
| 53-4 |
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon God? |
悪を行う者は悟りがないのか。彼らは物食うようにわが民を食らい、また神を呼ぶことをしない。 |

There were they in great fear, where no fear was; For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: Thou hast put them to shame, because God hath rejected them. |
彼らは恐るべきことのない時に大いに恐れた。神はよこしまな者の骨を散らされるからである。神が彼らを捨てられるので、彼らは恥をこうむるであろう。 |

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. |
どうか、シオンからイスラエルの救が出るように。神がその民の繁栄を回復される時、ヤコブは喜び、イスラエルは楽しむであろう。 |
