Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth: |
全地よ、神にむかって喜び呼ばわれ。 |

Sing forth the glory of his name: Make his praise glorious. |
そのみ名の栄光を歌え。栄えあるさんびをささげよ。 |
| 66-3 |
Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. |
神に告げよ。「あなたのもろもろのみわざは恐るべきかな。大いなるみ力によって、あなたの敵はみ前に屈服し、 |

All the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name. (Selah) |
全地はあなたを拝み、あなたをほめうたい、み名をほめうたうであろう」と。(セラ) |

Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. |
来て、神のみわざを見よ。人の子らにむかってなされることは恐るべきかな。 |

He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot: There did we rejoice in him. |
神は海を変えて、かわいた地とされた。人々は徒歩で川を渡った。その所でわれらは神を喜んだ。 |

He ruleth by his might for ever; His eyes observe the nations: Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah ) |
神は大能をもって、とこしえに統べ治め、その目はもろもろの国民を監視される。そむく者はみずからを高くしてはならない。(セラ) |

Oh bless our God, ye peoples, And make the voice of his praise to be heard; |
もろもろの民よ、われらの神をほめよ。神をほめたたえる声を聞えさせよ。 |

Who holdeth our soul in life, And suffereth not our feet to be moved. |
神はわれらを生きながらえさせ、われらの足のすべるのをゆるされない。 |
| 66-10 |
For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. |
神よ、あなたはわれらを試み、しろがねを練るように、われらを練られた。 |
| 66-11 |
Thou broughtest us into the net;
Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.

あなたはわれらを網にひきいれ、われらの腰に重き荷を置き、 |
| 66-12 |
Thou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. |
人々にわれらの頭の上を乗り越えさせられた。われらは火の中、水の中を通った。しかしあなたはわれらを広い所に導き出された。 |

I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows, |
わたしは燔祭をもってあなたの家に行き、わたしの誓いをあなたに果します。 |

Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, when I was in distress. |
これはわたしが悩みにあったとき、わたしのくちびるの言い出したもの、わたしの口が約束したものです。 |

I will offer unto thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah ) |
わたしは肥えたものの燔祭を雄羊のいけにえの煙と共にあなたにささげ、雄牛と雄やぎとをささげます。(セラ) |

Come, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul. |
すべて神を恐れる者よ、来て聞け。神がわたしのためになされたことを告げよう。 |

I cried unto him with my mouth, And he was extolled with my tongue. |
わたしは声をあげて神に呼ばわり、わが舌をもって神をあがめた。 |
| 66-18 |
If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear: |
もしわたしが心に不義をいだいていたならば、主はお聞きにならないであろう。 |
| 66-19 |
But verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer. |
しかし、まことに神はお聞きになり、わが祈の声にみこころをとめられた。 |

Blessed be God, Nor his lovingkindness from me. |
神はほむべきかな。神はわが祈をしりぞけず、そのいつくしみをわたしから取り去られなかった。 |
