We give thanks unto thee, O God; We give thanks, for thy name is near: Men tell of thy wondrous works. |

When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly. |
定まった時が来れば、わたしは公平をもってさばく。 |

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. (Selah) |
地とすべてこれに住むものがよろめくとき、わたしはその柱を堅くする。(セラ) |

I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: |
わたしは、誇る者には「誇るな」と言い、悪しき者には「角をあげるな、 |

Lift not up your horn on high; Speak not with a stiff neck. |
角を高くあげるな、高慢な態度をもって語るな」と言う。 |

For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, cometh lifting up. |
上げることは東からでなく、西からでなく、また荒野からでもない。 |

But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and lifteth up another. |
それはさばきを行われる神であって、神はこれを下げ、かれを上げられる。 |

For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine foameth; It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them. |
主の手には杯があって、よく混ぜた酒があわだっている。主がこれを注ぎ出されると、地のすべての悪しき者はこれを一滴も残さずに飲みつくすであろう。 |

But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. |
しかしわたしはとこしえに喜び、ヤコブの神をほめうたいます。正しい者の角はあげられるであろう。 |

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; But the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up. |
悪しき者の角はことごとく切り離されるが正しい者の角はあげられるであろう。 |
