| 90-1 |
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling-place .In all generations. |
主よ、あなたは世々われらのすみかでいらせられる。 |
| 90-2 |
Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. |
山がまだ生れず、あなたがまだ地と世界とを造られなかったとき、とこしえからとこしえまで、あなたは神でいらせられる。 |
| 90-3 |
Thou turnest man to destruction, And sayest, Return, ye children of men. |
あなたは人をちりに帰らせて言われます、「人の子よ、帰れ」と。 |
| 90-4 |
For a thousand years in thy sight .Are but as yesterday when it is past, And as a watch in the night. |
あなたの目の前には千年も過ぎ去ればきのうのごとく、夜の間のひと時のようです。 |
| 90-5 |
Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: In the morning they are like grass which groweth up. |
あなたは人を大水のように流れ去らせられます。彼らはひと夜の夢のごとく、あしたにもえでる青草のようです。 |

In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; In the evening it is cut down, and withereth. |
あしたにもえでて、栄えるが、夕べには、しおれて枯れるのです。 |

For we are consumed in thine anger, And in thy wrath are we troubled. |
われらはあなたの怒りによって消えうせ、あなたの憤りによって滅び去るのです。 |
| 90-8 |
Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, Our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. |
あなたはわれらの不義をみ前におき、われらの隠れた罪をみ顔の光のなかにおかれました。 |
| 90-9 |
For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: We bring our years to an end as a sigh. |
われらのすべての日は、あなたの怒りによって過ぎ去り、われらの年の尽きるのは、ひと息のようです。 |
| 90-10 |
The days of our years are threescore years and ten, Or even by reason of strength fourscore years; Yet is their pride but labor and sorrow; For it is soon gone, and we fly away. |
われらのよわいは七十年にすぎません。あるいは健やかであっても八十年でしょう。しかしその一生はただ、ほねおりと悩みであって、その過ぎゆくことは速く、われらは飛び去るのです。 |

Who knoweth the power of thine anger, And thy wrath according to the fear that is due unto thee? |
だれがあなたの怒りの力を知るでしょうか。だれがあなたをおそれる恐れにしたがってあなたの憤りを知るでしょうか。 |
| 90-12 |
So teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom. |
われらにおのが日を数えることを教えて、知恵の心を得させてください。 |

Return, O Jehovah; how long? And let it repent thee concerning thy servants. |
主よ、み心を変えてください。いつまでお怒りになるのですか。あなたのしもべをあわれんでください。 |
| 90-14 |
Oh satisfy us in the morning with thy lovingkindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days. |
あしたに、あなたのいつくしみをもってわれらを飽き足らせ、世を終るまで喜び楽しませてください。 |
| 90-15 |
Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, And the years wherein we have seen evil. |
あなたがわれらを苦しめられた多くの日と、われらが災にあった多くの年とに比べて、われらを楽しませてください。 |
| 90-16 |
Let thy work appear unto thy servants, And thy glory upon their children. |
あなたのみわざを、あなたのしもべらに、あなたの栄光を、その子らにあらわしてください。 |
| 90-17 |
And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And establish thou the work of our hands upon us; Yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. |
われらの神、主の恵みを、われらの上にくだし、われらの手のわざを、われらの上に栄えさせてください。われらの手のわざを栄えさせてください。 |
