| 12-1 |
The burden of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. Thus saith Jehovah, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him: |
託宣イスラエルについての主の言葉。すなわち天をのべ、地の基をすえ、人の霊をその中に造られた主は、こう仰せられる、 |
| 12-2 |
behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem. |
「見よ、わたしはエルサレムを、その周囲にあるすべての民をよろめかす杯にしようとしている。これはエルサレムの攻め囲まれる時、ユダにも及ぶ。 |
| 12-3 |
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it. |
その日には、わたしはエルサレムをすべての民に対して重い石とする。これを持ちあげる者はみな大傷を受ける。地の国々の民は皆集まって、これを攻める。 |

In that day, saith Jehovah, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness. |
主は言われる、その日には、わたしはすべての馬を撃って驚かせ、その乗り手を撃って狂わせる。しかし、もろもろの民の馬を、ことごとく撃って、めくらとするとき、ユダの家に対しては、わたしの目を開く。 |

And the chieftains of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Jehovah of hosts their God. |
その時ユダの諸族は、その心の中に『エルサレムの住民は、その神、万軍の主によって力強くなった』と言う。 |
| 12-6 |
In that day will I make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and they of Jerusalem shall yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem. |
その日には、わたしはユダの諸族を、たきぎの中の火皿のようにし、麦束の中のたいまつのようにする。彼らは右に左に、その周囲にあるすべての民を、焼き滅ぼす。しかしエルサレムはなお、そのもとの所、すなわちエルサレムで、人の住む所となる。 |

Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah. |
主はまずユダの幕屋を救われる。これはダビデの家の光栄と、エルサレムの住民の光栄とが、ユダの光栄にまさることのないようにするためである。 |
| 12-8 |
In that day shall Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of Jehovah before them. |
その日、主はエルサレムの住民を守られる。彼らの中の弱い者も、その日には、ダビデのようになる。またダビデの家は神のように、彼らに先だつ主の使のようになる。 |

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. |
その日には、わたしはエルサレムに攻めて来る国民を、ことごとく滅ぼそうと努める。 |
| 12-10 |
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born. |
わたしはダビデの家およびエルサレムの住民に、恵みと祈の霊とを注ぐ。彼らはその刺した者を見る時、ひとり子のために嘆くように彼のために嘆き、ういごのために悲しむように、彼のためにいたく悲しむ。 |
| 12-11 |
In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. |
その日には、エルサレムの嘆きは、メギドの平野にあったハダデ・リンモンのための嘆きのように大きい。 |
| 12-12 |
And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; |
国じゅう、氏族おのおの別れて嘆く。すなわちダビデの家の氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。ナタンの家の氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。 |
| 12-13 |
the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart; |
レビの家の氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。シメイの氏族は別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆く。 |
| 12-14 |
all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart. |
その他の氏族も皆別れて嘆き、その妻たちも別れて嘆くのである。 |
