2-1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun, イスラエルの子らは次のとおりである。ルベン、シメオン、レビ、ユダ、イッサカル、ゼブルン、
2-2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. ダン、ヨセフ、ベニヤミン、ナフタリ、ガド、アセル。
2-3 The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah; which three were born unto him of Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah’s first-born, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him. ユダの子らはエル、オナン、シラである。この三人はカナンの女バテシュアがユダによって産んだ者である。ユダの長子エルは主の前に悪を行ったので、主は彼を殺された。
2-4 And Tamar his daughter-in-law bare him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five. ユダの嫁タマルはユダによってペレヅとゼラを産んだ。ユダの子らは合わせて五人である。
2-5 The sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul. ペレヅの子らはヘヅロンとハムル。
2-6 And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; five of them in all. ゼラの子らはジムリ、エタン、ヘマン、カルコル、ダラで、合わせて五人である。
2-7 And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing. カルミの子はアカル。アカルは奉納物について罪を犯し、イスラエルを悩ました者である。
2-8 And the sons of Ethan: Azariah. エタンの子はアザリヤである。
2-9 The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai. ヘヅロンに生れた子らはエラメル、ラム、ケルバイである。
2-10 And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah; ラムはアミナダブを生み、アミナダブはユダの子孫のつかさナションを生んだ。
2-11 and Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz, ナションはサルマを生み、サルマはボアズを生み、
2-12 and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse; ボアズはオベデを生み、オベデはエッサイを生んだ。
2-13 and Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third, エッサイは長子エリアブ、次にアビナダブ、第三にシメア、
2-14 Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth, 第四にネタンエル、第五にラダイ、
2-15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh; 第六にオゼム、第七にダビデを生んだ。
2-16 and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three. 彼らの姉妹はゼルヤとアビガイルである。ゼルヤの産んだ子はアビシャイ、ヨアブ、アサヘルの三人である。
2-17 And Abigail bare Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite. アビガイルはアマサを産んだ。アマサの父はイシマエルびとエテルである。
2-18 And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon. ヘヅロンの子カレブはその妻アズバおよびエリオテによって子をもうけた。その子らはエシル、ショバブ、アルドンである。
2-19 And Azubah died, and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, who bare him Hur. カレブはアズバが死んだのでエフラタをめとった。エフラタはカレブによってホルを産んだ。
2-20 And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel. ホルはウリを生み、ウリはベザレルを生んだ。
2-21 And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he took to wife when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub. そののちヘヅロンはギレアデの父マキルの娘の所にはいった。彼が彼女をめとったときは六十歳であった。彼女はヘヅロンによってセグブを産んだ。
2-22 And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead. セグブはヤイルを生んだ。ヤイルはギレアデの地に二十三の町をもっていた。
2-23 And Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead. しかしゲシュルとアラムは彼らからハボテ・ヤイルおよびケナテとその村里など合わせて六十の町を取った。これらはみなギレアデの父マキルの子孫であった。
2-24 And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephrathah, then Abijah Hezron’s wife bare him Ashhur the father of Tekoa. ヘヅロンが死んだのち、カレブは父ヘヅロンの妻エフラタの所にはいった。彼女は彼にテコアの父アシュルを産んだ。
2-25 And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron were Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah. ヘヅロンの長子エラメルの子らは長子ラム、次はブナ、オレン、オゼム、アヒヤである。
2-26 And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam. エラメルはまたほかの妻をもっていた。名をアタラといって、オナムの母である。
2-27 And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker. エラメルの長子ラムの子らはマアツ、ヤミン、エケルである。
2-28 And the sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur. オナムの子らはシャンマイとヤダである。シャンマイの子らはナダブとアビシュルである。
2-29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bare him Ahban, and Molid. アビシュルの妻の名はアビハイルといって、アバンとモリデを産んだ。
2-30 And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children. ナダブの子らはセレデとアッパイムである。セレデは子をもたずに死んだ。
2-31 And the sons of Appaim: Ishi. And the sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai. アッパイムの子はイシ、イシの子はセシャン、セシャンの子はアヘライである。
2-32 And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children. シャンマイの兄弟ヤダの子らはエテルとヨナタンである。エテルは子をもたずに死んだ。
2-33 And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel. ヨナタンの子らはペレテとザザである。以上はエラメルの子孫である。
2-34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha. セシャンには男の子はなく、ただ女の子のみであったが、彼はヤルハと呼ぶエジプトびとの奴隷をもっていたので、
2-35 And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai. セシャンは娘を奴隷ヤルハに与えてその妻とさせた。彼女はヤルハによってアッタイを産んだ。
2-36 And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad, アッタイはナタンを生み、ナタンはザバデを生み、
2-37 and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed, ザバデはエフラルを生み、エフラルはオベデを生み、
2-38 and Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah, オベデはエヒウを生み、エヒウはアザリヤを生み、
2-39 and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah, アザリヤはヘレヅを生み、ヘレヅはエレアサを生み、
2-40 and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum, エレアサはシスマイを生み、シスマイはシャルムを生み、
2-41 and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama. シャルムはエカミヤを生み、エカミヤはエリシャマを生んだ。
2-42 And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his first-born, who was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron. エラメルの兄弟であるカレブの子らは長子をマレシャといってジフの父である。マレシャの子はヘブロン。
2-43 And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema. ヘブロンの子らはコラ、タップア、レケム、シマである。
2-44 And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begat Shammai. シマはラハムを生んだ。ラハムはヨルカムの父である。またレケムはシャンマイを生んだ。
2-45 And the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur. シャンマイの子はマオン。マオンはベテヅルの父である。
2-46 And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begat Gazez. カレブのそばめエパはハラン、モザ、ガゼズを産んだ。ハランはガゼズを生んだ。
2-47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jothan, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph. エダイの子らはレゲム、ヨタム、ゲシャン、ペレテ、エパ、シャフである。
2-48 Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Sheber and Tirhanah. カレブのそばめマアカはシベルとテルハナを産み、
2-49 She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah. またマデマンナの父シャフおよびマクベナとギベアの父シワを産んだ。カレブの娘はアクサである。
2-50 These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim, これらはカレブの子孫であった。エフラタの長子ホルの子らはキリアテ・ヤリムの父ショバル、
2-51 Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader. ベツレヘムの父サルマおよびベテガデルの父ハレフである。
2-52 And Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth. キリアテ・ヤリムの父ショバル子らはハロエとメヌコテびとの半ばである。
2-53 And the families of Kiriath-jearim: The Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites. キリアテ・ヤリムの氏族はイテルびと、プテびと、シュマびと、ミシラびとであって、これらからザレアびとおよびエシタオルびとが出た。
2-54 The sons of Salma: Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites. サルマの子らはベツレヘム、ネトパびと、アタロテ・ベテ・ヨアブ、マナハテびとの半ばおよびゾリびとである。
2-55 And the families of scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab. またヤベヅに住んでいた書記の氏族テラテびと、シメアテびと、スカテびとである。これらはケニびとであってレカブの家の先祖ハマテから出た者である。
