Moreover David and the captains of the host set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of them that did the work according to their service was: |
ダビデと軍の長たちはまたアサフ、ヘマンおよびエドトンの子らを勤めのために分かち、琴と、立琴と、シンバルをもって預言する者にした。その勤めをなした人々の数は次のとおりである。 |

of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied after the order of the king. |
アサフの子たちはザックル、ヨセフ、ネタニヤ、アサレラであって、アサフの指揮のもとに王の命によって預言した者である。 |

Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Jehovah. |
エドトンについては、エドトンの子たちはゲダリヤ、ゼリ、エサヤ、ハシャビヤ、マッタテヤの六人で、琴をもって主に感謝し、かつほめたたえて預言したその父エドトンの指揮の下にあった。 |

Of Heman; the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth. |
ヘマンについては、ヘマンの子たちはブッキヤ、マッタニヤ、ウジエル、シブエル、エレモテ、ハナニヤ、ハナニ、エリアタ、ギダルテ、ロマムテ・エゼル、ヨシベカシャ、マロテ、ホテル、マハジオテである。 |

All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters. |
これらは皆、神がご自身の約束にしたがって高くされた王の先見者ヘマンの子たちであった。神はヘマンに男の子十四人、女の子三人を与えられた。 |

All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king. |
これらの者は皆その父の指揮の下にあって、主の宮で歌をうたい、シンバルと立琴と琴をもって神の宮の務をした。アサフ、エドトンおよびヘマンは王の命の下にあった。 |

And the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in singing unto Jehovah, even all that were skilful, was two hundred fourscore and eight. |
彼らおよび主に歌をうたうことのために訓練され、すべて熟練した兄弟たちの数は二百八十八人であった。 |
| 25-8 |
And they cast lots for their offices, all alike, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar. |
彼らは小なる者も、大なる者も、教師も生徒も皆ひとしくその務のためにくじを引いた。 |
| 25-9 |
Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah; he and his brethren and sons were twelve: |
第一のくじはアサフのためにヨセフに当り、第二はゲダリヤに当った。彼とその兄弟たちおよびその子たち、合わせて十二人。 |

the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve: |
第三はザックルに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。 |

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve: |
