| 26-1 |
And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein, |
あなたの神、主が嗣業として賜わる国にはいって、それを所有し、そこに住む時は、 |
| 26-2 |
that thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which thou shalt bring in from thy land that Jehovah thy God giveth thee; and thou shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there. |
あなたの神、主が賜わる国にできる、地のすべての実の初物を取ってかごに入れ、あなたの神、主がその名を置くために選ばれる所へ携えて行かなければならない。 |
| 26-3 |
And thou shalt come unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto Jehovah thy God, that I am come unto the land which Jehovah sware unto our fathers to give us. |
そしてその時の祭司の所へ行って彼に言わなければならない、『きょう、あなたの神、主にわたしは申します。主がわれわれに与えると先祖たちに誓われた国に、わたしははいることができました』。 |
| 26-4 |
And the priest shall take the basket out of thy hand, and set it down before the altar of Jehovah thy God. |
そのとき祭司はあなたの手からそのかごを受け取ってあなたの神、主の祭壇の前に置かなければならない。 |
| 26-5 |
And thou shalt answer and say before Jehovah thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father; and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there, few in number; and he became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous. |
そして、あなたはあなたの神、主の前に述べて言わなければならない、『わたしの先祖は、さすらいの一アラムびとでありましたが、わずかの人を連れてエジプトへ下って行って、その所に寄留し、ついにそこで大きく、強い、人数の多い国民になりました。 |
| 26-6 |
And the Egyptians dealt ill with us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage: |
ところがエジプトびとはわれわれをしえたげ、また悩まして、つらい労役を負わせましたが、 |
| 26-7 |
and we cried unto Jehovah, the God of our fathers, and Jehovah heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our toil, and our oppression; |
われわれが先祖たちの神、主に叫んだので、主はわれわれの声を聞き、われわれの悩みと、骨折りと、しえたげとを顧み、 |
| 26-8 |
and Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders; |
主は強い手と、伸べた腕と、大いなる恐るべき事と、しるしと、不思議とをもって、われわれをエジプトから導き出し、 |
| 26-9 |
and he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. |
われわれをこの所へ連れてきて、乳と蜜の流れるこの地をわれわれに賜わりました。 |
| 26-10 |
And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which thou, O Jehovah, hast given me. And thou shalt set it down before Jehovah thy God, and worship before Jehovah thy God: |
主よ、ごらんください。あなたがわたしに賜わった地の実の初物を、いま携えてきました』。そしてあなたはそれをあなたの神、主の前に置いて、あなたの神、主の前に礼拝し、 |
| 26-11 |
and thou shalt rejoice in all the good which Jehovah thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thy house, thou, and the Levite, and the sojourner that is in the midst of thee. |
あなたの神、主があなたとあなたの家とに賜わったすべての良い物をもって、レビびとおよびあなたのなかにいる寄留の他国人と共に喜び楽しまなければならない。 |
| 26-12 |
When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithe of thine increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, then thou shalt give it unto the Levite, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled. |
第三年すなわち十分の一を納める年に、あなたがすべての産物の十分の一を納め終って、それをレビびとと寄留の他国人と孤児と寡婦とに与え、町のうちで彼らに飽きるほど食べさせた時、 |
| 26-13 |
And thou shalt say before Jehovah thy God, I have put away the hallowed things out of my house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandment which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed any of thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them: |
あなたの神、主の前で言わなければならない、『わたしはその聖なる物を家から取り出し、またレビびとと寄留の他国人と孤児と寡婦とにそれを与え、すべてあなたが命じられた命令のとおりにいたしました。わたしはあなたの命令にそむかず、またそれを忘れませんでした。 |
| 26-14 |
I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I put away thereof, being unclean, nor given thereof for the dead: I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that thou hast commanded me. |
わたしはその聖なる物を喪のうちで食べたことがなく、また汚れた身でそれを取り出したことがなく、また死人にそれを供えたことがありませんでした。わたしはわたしの神、主の声に聞き従い、すべてあなたがわたしに命じられたとおりにいたしました。 |
| 26-15 |
Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the ground which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey. |
あなたの聖なるすみかである天からみそなわして、あなたの民イスラエルと、あなたがわれわれに与えられた地とを祝福してください。これはあなたがわれわれの先祖に誓われた乳と蜜の流れる地です』。 |
| 26-16 |
This day Jehovah thy God commandeth thee to do these statutes and ordinances: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thy heart, and with all thy soul. |
きょう、あなたの神、主はこれらの定めと、おきてとを行うことをあなたに命じられる。それゆえ、あなたは心をつくし、精神をつくしてそれを守り行わなければならない。 |
| 26-17 |
Thou hast avouched Jehovah this day to be thy God, and that thou wouldest walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and hearken unto his voice: |
きょう、あなたは主をあなたの神とし、かつその道に歩み、定めと、戒めと、おきてとを守り、その声に聞き従うことを明言した。 |
| 26-18 |
and Jehovah hath avouched thee this day to be a people for his own possession, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments; |
そして、主は先に約束されたように、きょう、あなたを自分の宝の民とされること、また、あなたがそのすべての命令を守るべきことを明言された。 |
| 26-19 |
and to make thee high above all nations that he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that thou mayest be a holy people unto Jehovah thy God, as he hath spoken. |
主は誉と良き名と栄えとをあなたに与えて、主の造られたすべての国民にまさるものとされるであろう。あなたは主が言われたように、あなたの神、主の聖なる民となるであろう」。 |
