27-1 And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day. モーセとイスラエルの長老たちとは民に命じて言った、「わたしが、きょう、あなたがたに命じるすべての戒めを守りなさい。
27-2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster: あなたがたがヨルダンを渡ってあなたの神、主が賜わる国にはいる時、あなたは大きな石数個を立てて、それにしっくいを塗り、
27-3 and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over; that thou mayest go in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath promised thee. そしてあなたが渡って、あなたの先祖たちの神、主が約束されたようにあなたの神、主が賜わる地、すなわち乳と蜜の流れる地にはいる時、この律法のすべての言葉をその上に書きしるさなければならない。
27-4 And it shall be, when ye are passed over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster. すなわち、あなたがたが、ヨルダンを渡ったならば、わたしが、きょう、あなたがたに命じるそれらの石をエバル山に立て、それにしっくいを塗らなければならない。
27-5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt lift up no iron tool upon them. またそこにあなたの神、主のために、祭壇、すなわち石の祭壇を築かなければならない。鉄の器を石に当てず、
27-6 Thou shalt build the altar of Jehovah thy God of unhewn stones; and thou shalt offer burnt-offerings thereon unto Jehovah thy God: 自然のままの石であなたの神、主のために祭壇を築き、その上であなたの神、主に燔祭をささげなければならない。
27-7 and thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there; and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God. また酬恩祭の犠牲をささげて、その所で食べ、あなたの神、主の前で喜び楽しまなければならない。
27-8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly. あなたはこの律法のすべての言葉をその石の上に明らかに書きしるさなければならない」。
27-9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Keep silence, and hearken, O Israel: this day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God. またモーセとレビびとたる祭司たちとは、イスラエルのすべての人々に言った、「イスラエルよ、静かに聞きなさい。あなたは、きょう、あなたの神、主の民となった。
27-10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day. それゆえ、あなたの神、主の声に聞き従い、わたしが、きょう、命じる戒めと定めとを行わなければならない」。
27-11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying, その日またモーセは民に命じて言った、
27-12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin. 「あなたがたがヨルダンを渡った時、次の人たちはゲリジム山に立って民を祝福しなければならない。すなわちシメオン、レビ、ユダ、イッサカル、ヨセフおよびベニヤミン。
27-13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. また次の人たちはエバル山に立ってのろわなければならない。すなわちルベン、ガド、アセル、ゼブルン、ダンおよびナフタリ。
27-14 And the Levites shall answer, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice, そしてレビびとは大声でイスラエルのすべての人々に告げて言わなければならない。
27-15 Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. 『工人の手の作である刻んだ像、または鋳た像は、主が憎まれるものであるから、それを造って、ひそかに安置する者はのろわれる』。民は、みな答えてアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『父や母を軽んずる者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『隣人との土地の境を移す者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『盲人を道に迷わす者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-19 Cursed be he that wresteth the justice due to the sojourner, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『寄留の他国人や孤児、寡婦のさばきを曲げる者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-20 Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife, because he hath uncovered his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『父の妻を犯す者は、父を恥ずかしめるのであるからのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『すべて獣を犯す者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『父の娘、または母の娘である自分の姉妹を犯す者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『妻の母を犯す者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor in secret. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『ひそかに隣人を撃ち殺す者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-25 Cursed be he that taketh a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『まいないを取って罪なき者を殺す者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
27-26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. 『この律法の言葉を守り行わない者はのろわれる』。民はみなアァメンと言わなければならない。
