| 19-1 |
The burden of Egypt.Behold, Jehovah rideth upon a swift cloud, and cometh unto Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall tremble at his presence; and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. |
エジプトについての託宣。見よ、主は速い雲に乗って、エジプトに来られる。エジプトのもろもろの偶像は、み前に震えおののき、エジプトびとの心は彼らのうちに溶け去る。 |
| 19-2 |
And I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. |
わたしはエジプトびとを奮いたたせて、エジプトびとに逆らわせる。彼らはおのおのその兄弟に敵して戦い、おのおのその隣に敵し、町は町を攻め、国は国を攻める。 |
| 19-3 |
And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst of it; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek unto the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. |
エジプトびとの魂は、彼らのうちにうせて、むなしくなる。わたしはその計りごとを破る。彼らは偶像および魔術師、巫子および魔法使に尋ね求める。 |
| 19-4 |
And I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts. |
わたしはエジプトびとをきびしい主人の手に渡す、荒々しい王が彼らを治めると、主、万軍の主は言われる。 |
| 19-5 |
And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and become dry. |
ナイルの水はつき、川はかれてかわく。 |
| 19-6 |
And the rivers shall become foul; the streams of Egypt shall be diminished and dried up; the reeds and flags shall wither away. |
またその運河は臭いにおいを放ち、エジプトのナイルの支流はややに減ってかわき、葦とよしとは枯れはてる。 |
| 19-7 |
The meadows by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all the sown fields of the Nile, shall become dry, be driven away, and be no more. |
ナイルのほとり、ナイルの岸には裸の所があり、ナイルのほとりにまいた物はことごとく枯れ、散らされて、うせ去る。 |
| 19-8 |
And the fishers shall lament, and all they that cast angle into the Nile shall mourn, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. |
漁夫は嘆き、すべてナイルにつりをたれる者は悲しみ、網を水のおもてにうつ者は衰える。 |
| 19-9 |
Moreover they that work in combed flax, and they that weave white cloth, shall be confounded. |
練った麻で物を造る者と、白布を織る者は恥じる。 |
| 19-10 |
And the pillars of Egypt shall be broken in pieces; all they that work for hire shall be grieved in soul. |
国の柱たる者は砕かれ、すべて雇われて働く者は嘆き悲しむ。 |
| 19-11 |
The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish; the counsel of the wisest counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? |
ゾアンの君たちは全く愚かであり、パロの賢い議官らは愚かな計りごとをなす。あなたがたはどうしてパロにむかって「わたしは賢い者の子、いにしえの王の子です」と言うことができようか。 |
| 19-12 |
Where then are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now; and let them know what Jehovah of hosts hath purposed concerning Egypt. |
あなたの賢い者はどこにおるか。彼らをして、万軍の主がエジプトについて定められたことをあなたに告げ知らしめよ。 |
| 19-13 |
The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Memphis are deceived; they have caused Egypt to go astray, that are the corner-stone of her tribes. |
ゾアンの君たちは愚かとなり、メンピスの君たちは欺かれ、エジプトのもろもろの部族の隅の石たる彼らは、かえってエジプトを迷わせた。 |
| 19-14 |
Jehovah hath mingled a spirit of perverseness in the midst of her; and they have caused Egypt to go astray in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. |
主は曲った心を彼らのうちに混ぜられた。彼らはエジプトをして、すべてその行うことに迷わせ、あたかも酔った人の物吐くときによろめくようにさせた。 |
| 19-15 |
Neither shall there be for Egypt any work, which head or tail, palm-branch or rush, may do. |

| 19-16 |
In that day shall the Egyptians be like unto women; and they shall tremble and fear because of the shaking of the hand of Jehovah of hosts, which he shaketh over them. |
その日、エジプトびとは女のようになり、万軍の主の彼らの上に振り動かされるみ手の前に恐れおののく。 |
| 19-17 |
And the land of Judah shall become a terror unto Egypt; every one to whom mention is made thereof shall be afraid, because of the purpose of Jehovah of hosts, which he purposeth against it. |
ユダの地は、エジプトびとに恐れられ、ユダについて語り告げることを聞くエジプトびとはみな、万軍の主がエジプトびとにむかって定められた計りごとのゆえに恐れる。 |
| 19-18 |
In that day there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan, and swear to Jehovah of hosts; one shall be called The city of destruction. |
その日、エジプトの地にカナンの国ことばを語り、また万軍の主に誓いを立てる五つの町があり、その中の一つは太陽の町ととなえられる。 |
| 19-19 |
In that day shall there be an altar to Jehovah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to Jehovah. |
その日、エジプトの国の中に主をまつる一つの祭壇があり、その境に主をまつる一つの柱がある。 |
| 19-20 |
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto Jehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry unto Jehovah because of oppressors, and he will send them a saviour, and a defender, and he will deliver them. |
これはエジプトの国で万軍の主に、しるしとなり、あかしとなる。彼らがしえたげる者のゆえに、主に叫び求めるとき、主は救う者をつかわして、彼らを守り助けられる。 |
| 19-21 |
And Jehovah shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know Jehovah in that day; yea, they shall worship with sacrifice and oblation, and shall vow a vow unto Jehovah, and shall perform it. |
主はご自分をエジプトびとに知らせられる。その日、エジプトびとは主を知り、犠牲と供え物とをもって主に仕え、主に誓願をたててこれを果す。 |
| 19-22 |
And Jehovah will smite Egypt, smiting and healing; and they shall return unto Jehovah, and he will be entreated of them, and will heal them. |
主はエジプトを撃たれる。主はこれを撃たれるが、またいやされる。それゆえ彼らは主に帰る。主は彼らの願いをいれて、彼らをいやされる。 |
| 19-23 |
In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria; and the Egyptians shall worship with the Assyrians. |
その日、エジプトからアッスリヤに通う大路があって、アッスリヤびとはエジプトに、エジプトびとはアッスリヤに行き、エジプトびとはアッスリヤびとと共に主に仕える。 |
| 19-24 |
In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth; |
その日、イスラエルはエジプトとアッスリヤと共に三つ相並び、全地のうちで祝福をうけるものとなる。 |
| 19-25 |
for that Jehovah of hosts hath blessed them, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance. |
万軍の主は、これを祝福して言われる、「さいわいなるかな、わが民なるエジプト、わが手のわざなるアッスリヤ、わが嗣業なるイスラエル」と。 |
