| 45-1 |
Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut: |
わたしはわが受膏者クロスの右の手をとって、もろもろの国をその前に従わせ、もろもろの王の腰を解き、とびらをその前に開かせて、門を閉じさせない、と言われる主はその受膏者クロスにこう言われる、 |

I will go before thee, and make the rough places smooth; I will break in pieces the doors of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron; |
「わたしはあなたの前に行って、もろもろの山を平らにし、青銅のとびらをこわし、鉄の貫の木を断ち切り、 |
| 45-3 |
and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that it is I, Jehovah, who call thee by thy name, even the God of Israel. |
あなたに、暗い所にある財宝と、ひそかな所に隠した宝物とを与えて、わたしは主、あなたの名を呼んだイスラエルの神であることをあなたに知らせよう。 |
| 45-4 |
For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel my chosen, I have called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. |
わがしもべヤコブのために、わたしの選んだイスラエルのために、わたしはあなたの名を呼んだ。あなたがわたしを知らなくても、わたしはあなたに名を与えた。 |

I am Jehovah, and there is none else; besides me there is no God. I will gird thee, though thou hast not known me; |
わたしは主である。わたしのほかに神はない、ひとりもない。あなたがわたしを知らなくても、わたしはあなたを強くする。 |
| 45-6 |
that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none besides me: I am Jehovah, and there is none else. |
これは日の出る方から、また西の方から、人々がわたしのほかに神のないことを知るようになるためである。わたしは主である、わたしのほかに神はない。 |
| 45-7 |
7 I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things. |
わたしは光をつくり、また暗きを創造し、繁栄をつくり、またわざわいを創造する。わたしは主である、すべてこれらの事をなす者である。 |
| 45-8 |
Distil, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, that it may bring forth salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up together; I, Jehovah, have created it. |
天よ、上より水を注げ、雲は義を降らせよ。地は開けて救を生じ、また義をも、生えさせよ。主なるわたしはこれを創造した。 |
| 45-9 |
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? |
陶器が陶器師と争うように、おのれを造った者と争う者はわざわいだ。粘土は陶器師にむかって『あなたは何を造るか』と言い、あるいは『あなたの造った物には手がない』と言うだろうか。 |

Woe unto him that saith unto a father, What begettest thou? or to a woman, With what travailest thou? |
父にむかって『あなたは、なぜ子をもうけるのか』と言い、あるいは女にむかって『あなたは、なぜ産みの苦しみをするのか』と言う者はわざわいだ」。 |
| 45-11 |
Thus saith Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things that are to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command ye me. |
イスラエルの聖者、イスラエルを造られた主はこう言われる、「あなたがたは、わが子らについてわたしに問い、またわが手のわざについてわたしに命ずるのか。 |
| 45-12 |
I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens; and all their host have I commanded. |
わたしは地を造って、その上に人を創造した。わたしは手をもって天をのべ、その万軍を指揮した。 |
| 45-13 |
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make straight all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let my exiles go free, not for price nor reward, saith Jehovah of hosts. |
わたしは義をもってクロスを起した。わたしは彼のすべての道をまっすぐにしよう。彼はわが町を建て、わが捕囚を価のためでなく、また報いのためでもなく解き放つ」と万軍の主は言われる。 |
| 45-14 |
Thus saith Jehovah, The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall go after thee, in chains they shall come over; and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God. |
主はこう言われる、「エジプトの富と、エチオピヤの商品と、たけの高いセバびととはあなたに来て、あなたのものとなり、あなたに従い、彼らは鎖につながれて来て、あなたの前にひれ伏し、あなたに願って言う、『神はただあなたと共にいまし、このほかに神はなく、ひとりもない』」。 |
| 45-15 |
Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. |
イスラエルの神、救主よ、まことに、あなたはご自分を隠しておられる神である。 |
| 45-16 |
They shall be put to shame, yea, confounded, all of them; they shall go into confusion together that are makers of idols. |
偶像を造る者は皆恥を負い、はずかしめを受け、ともに、あわてふためいて退く。 |
| 45-17 |
But Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be put to shame nor confounded world without end. |
しかし、イスラエルは主に救われて、とこしえの救を得る。あなたがたは世々かぎりなく、恥を負わず、はずかしめを受けない。 |
| 45-18 |
For thus saith Jehovah that created the heavens, the God that formed the earth and made it, that established it and created it not a waste, that formed it to be inhabited: I am Jehovah; and there is none else. |
天を創造された主、すなわち神であってまた地をも造り成し、これを堅くし、いたずらにこれを創造されず、これを人のすみかに造られた主はこう言われる、「わたしは主である、わたしのほかに神はない。 |
| 45-19 |
I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I, Jehovah, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. |
わたしは隠れたところ、地の暗い所で語らず、ヤコブの子孫に『わたしを尋ねるのはむだだ』と言わなかった。主なるわたしは正しい事を語り、まっすぐな事を告げる。 |
| 45-20 |
Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. |
もろもろの国からのがれてきた者よ、集まってきて、共に近寄れ。木像をにない、救うことのできない神に祈る者は無知である。 |
| 45-21 |
Declare ye, and bring it forth; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath showed this from ancient time? who hath declared it of old? have not I, Jehovah? and there is no God else besides me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none besides me. |
あなたがたの言い分を持ってきて述べよ。また共に相談せよ。この事をだれがいにしえから示したか。だれが昔から告げたか。わたし、すなわち主ではなかったか。わたしのほかに神はない。わたしは義なる神、救主であって、わたしのほかに神はない。 |
| 45-22 |
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else. |
地の果なるもろもろの人よ、わたしを仰ぎのぞめ、そうすれば救われる。わたしは神であって、ほかに神はないからだ。 |
| 45-23 |
By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. |
わたしは自分をさして誓った、わたしの口から出た正しい言葉は帰ることがない、『すべてのひざはわが前にかがみ、すべての舌は誓いをたてる』。 |
| 45-24 |
Only in Jehovah, it is said of me, is righteousness and strength; even to him shall men come; and all they that were incensed against him shall be put to shame. |
人はわたしについて言う、『正義と力とは主にのみある』と。人々は主にきたり、主にむかって怒る者は皆恥を受ける。 |
| 45-25 |
In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory. |
しかしイスラエルの子孫は皆主によって勝ち誇ることができる」。 |
