Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. |
シオンよ、さめよ、さめよ、力を着よ。聖なる都エルサレムよ、美しい衣を着よ。割礼を受けない者および汚れた者は、もはやあなたのところに、はいることがないからだ。 |

Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit on thy throne, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. |
捕われたエルサレムよ、あなたの身からちりを振り落せ、起きよ。捕われたシオンの娘よ、あなたの首のなわを解きすてよ。 |

For thus saith Jehovah, Ye were sold for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. |
主はこう言われる、「あなたがたは、ただで売られた。金を出さずにあがなわれる」。 |
| 52-4 |
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah, My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without cause. |
主なる神はこう言われる、「わが民はさきにエジプトへ下って行って、かしこに寄留した。またアッスリヤびとはゆえなく彼らをしえたげた。 |

Now therefore, what do I here, saith Jehovah, seeing that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them do howl, saith Jehovah, and my name continually all the day is blasphemed. |
それゆえ、今わたしはここに何をしようか。わが民はゆえなく捕われた」と主は言われる。主は言われる、「彼らをつかさどる者はわめき、わが名は常にひねもす侮られる。 |

Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak; behold, it is I. |
それゆえ、わが民はわが名を知るにいたる。その日には彼らはこの言葉を語る者がわたしであることを知る。わたしはここにおる」。 |

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! |
よきおとずれを伝え、平和を告げ、よきおとずれを伝え、救を告げ、シオンにむかって「あなたの神は王となられた」と言う者の足は山の上にあって、なんと麗しいことだろう。 |

The voice of thy watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah returneth to Zion. |
聞けよ、あなたの見張びとは声をあげて、共に喜び歌っている。彼らは目と目と相合わせて、主がシオンに帰られるのを見るからだ。 |

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. |
エルサレムの荒れすたれた所よ、声を放って共に歌え。主はその民を慰め、エルサレムをあがなわれたからだ。 |
| 52-10 |
Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. |
主はその聖なるかいなを、もろもろの国びとの前にあらわされた。地のすべての果は、われわれの神の救を見る。 |
| 52-11 |
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; cleanse yourselves, ye that bear the vessels of Jehovah. |
去れよ、去れよ、そこを出て、汚れた物にさわるな。その中を出よ、主の器をになう者よ、おのれを清く保て。 |
| 52-12 |
For ye shall not go out in haste, neither shall ye go by flight: for Jehovah will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rearward. |
あなたがたは急いで出るに及ばない、また、とんで行くにも及ばない。主はあなたがたの前に行き、イスラエルの神はあなたがたのしんがりとなられるからだ。 |

Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. |
見よ、わがしもべは栄える。彼は高められ、あげられ、ひじょうに高くなる。 |
| 52-14 |
Like as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men), |
多くの人が彼に驚いたように――彼の顔だちは、そこなわれて人と異なり、その姿は人の子と異なっていたからである―― |
| 52-15 |
so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand. |
彼は多くの国民を驚かす。王たちは彼のゆえに口をつむぐ。それは彼らがまだ伝えられなかったことを見、まだ聞かなかったことを悟るからだ。 |
