Thus saith Jehovah, Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. |
主はこう言われる、「あなたがたは公平を守って正義を行え。わが救の来るのは近く、わが助けのあらわれるのが近いからだ。 |
| 56-2 |
Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth it fast; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. |
安息日を守って、これを汚さず、その手をおさえて、悪しき事をせず、このように行う人、これを堅く守る人の子はさいわいである」。 |

Neither let the foreigner, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak, saying, Jehovah will surely separate me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. |
主に連なっている異邦人は言ってはならない、「主は必ずわたしをその民から分かたれる」と。宦官もまた言ってはならない、「見よ、わたしは枯れ木だ」と。 |

For thus saith Jehovah of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant: |
主はこう言われる、「わが安息日を守り、わが喜ぶことを選んで、わが契約を堅く守る宦官には、 |

Unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. |
わが家のうちで、わが垣のうちで、むすこにも娘にもまさる記念のしるしと名を与え、絶えることのない、とこしえの名を与える。 |

Also the foreigners that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast my covenant; |
また主に連なり、主に仕え、主の名を愛し、そのしもべとなり、すべて安息日を守って、これを汚さず、わが契約を堅く守る異邦人は―― |

even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples. |
わたしはこれをわが聖なる山にこさせ、わが祈の家のうちで楽しませる、彼らの燔祭と犠牲とは、わが祭壇の上に受けいれられる。わが家はすべての民の祈の家ととなえられるからである」。 |

The Lord Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, saith, Yet will I gather others to him, besides his own that are gathered. |
イスラエルの追いやられた者を集められる主なる神はこう言われる、「わたしはさらに人を集めて、すでに集められた者に加えよう」と。 |

All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. |
野のすべての獣よ、林におるすべての獣よ、来て食らえ。 |
| 56-10 |
His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. |
見張人らはみな目しいで、知ることがなく、みな、おしの犬で、ほえることができない。みな夢みる者、伏している者、まどろむことを好む者だ。 |

Yea, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter. |
この犬どもは強欲で、飽くことを知らない。彼らはまた悟ることのできない牧者で、皆おのが道にむかいゆき、おのおのみな、おのれの利を求める。 |

Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, a day great beyond measure. |
彼らは互に言う、「さあ、われわれは酒を手に入れ、濃い酒をあびるほど飲もう。あすも、きょうのようであるだろう、すばらしい日だ」と。 |
