And if any one sin, in that he heareth the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he hath seen or known, if he do not utter it , then he shall bear his iniquity. |
もし人が証人に立ち、誓いの声を聞きながら、その見たこと、知っていることを言わないで、罪を犯すならば、彼はそのとがを負わなければならない。 |

Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it be hidden from him, and he be unclean, then he shall be guilty. |
また、もし人が汚れた野獣の死体、汚れた家畜の死体、汚れた這うものの死体など、すべて汚れたものに触れるならば、そのことに気づかなくても、彼は汚れたものとなって、とがを得る。 |

Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever his uncleanness be wherewith he is unclean, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty. |
また、もし彼が人の汚れに触れるならば、その人の汚れが、どのような汚れであれ、それに気づかなくても、彼がこれを知るようになった時は、とがを得る。 |

Or if any one swear rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall utter rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these things. |
また、もし人がみだりにくちびるで誓い、悪をなそう、または善をなそうと言うならば、その人が誓ってみだりに言ったことは、それがどんなことであれ、それに気づかなくても、彼がこれを知るようになった時は、これらの一つについて、とがを得る。 |

And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things , that he shall confess that wherein he hath sinned: |
もしこれらの一つについて、とがを得たときは、その罪を犯したことを告白し、 |
| 5-6 |
and he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin. |
その犯した罪のために償いとして、雌の家畜、すなわち雌の小羊または雌やぎを主のもとに連れてきて、罪祭としなければならない。こうして祭司は彼のために罪のあがないをするであろう。 |

And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass-offering for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, unto Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering. |
もし小羊に手のとどかない時は、山ばと二羽か、家ばとのひな二羽かを、彼が犯した罪のために償いとして主に携えてきて、一羽を罪祭に、一羽を燔祭にしなければならない。 |

And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin-offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it asunder: |
すなわち、これらを祭司に携えてきて、祭司はその罪祭のものを先にささげなければならない。すなわち、その頭を首の根のところで、摘み破らなければならない。ただし、切り離してはならない。 |

and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar: it is a sin-offering. |
そしてその罪祭の血を祭壇の側面に注ぎ、残りの血は祭壇のもとに絞り出さなければならない。これは罪祭である。 |

And he shall offer the second for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven. |
また第二のものは、定めにしたがって燔祭としなければならない。こうして、祭司が彼のためにその犯した罪のあがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。 |

But if his means suffice not for two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his oblation for that wherein he hath sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering: he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering. |
もし二羽の山ばとにも、二羽の家ばとのひなにも、手の届かないときは、彼の犯した罪のために、供え物として麦粉十分の一エパを携えてきて、これを罪祭としなければならない。ただし、その上に油をかけてはならない。またその上に乳香を添えてはならない。これは罪祭だからである。 |

And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, upon the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: it is a sin-offering. |
彼はこれを祭司のもとに携えて行き、祭司は一握りを取って、記念の分とし、これを主にささげる火祭のように、祭壇の上で焼かなければならない。これは罪祭である。 |

And the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in any of these things, and he shall be forgiven: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as the meal-offering. |
こうして、祭司が彼のため、すなわち、彼がこれらの一つを犯した罪のために、あがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。そしてその残りは素祭と同じく、祭司に帰するであろう』」。 |

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, |
主はまたモーセに言われた、 |

If any one commit a trespass, and sin unwittingly, in the holy things of Jehovah; then he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering: |
「もし人が不正をなし、あやまって主の聖なる物について罪を犯したときは、その償いとして、あなたの値積りにしたがい、聖所のシケルで、銀数シケルに当る雄羊の全きものを、群れのうちから取り、それを主に携えてきて、愆祭としなければならない。 |

and he shall make restitution for that which he hath done amiss in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, and he shall be forgiven. |
そしてその聖なる物について犯した罪のために償いをし、またその五分の一をこれに加えて、祭司に渡さなければならない。こうして祭司がその愆祭の雄羊をもって、彼のためにあがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。 |
| 5-17 |
And if any one sin, and do any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done; though he knew it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. |
また人がもし罪を犯し、主のいましめにそむいて、してはならないことの一つをしたときは、たといそれを知らなくても、彼は罪を得、そのとがを負わなければならない。 |
| 5-18 |
And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation, for a trespass-offering, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing wherein he erred unwittingly and knew it not, and he shall be forgiven. |
彼はあなたの値積りにしたがって、雄羊の全きものを群れのうちから取り、愆祭としてこれを祭司のもとに携えてこなければならない。こうして、祭司が彼のために、すなわち彼が知らないで、しかもあやまって犯した過失のために、あがないをするならば、彼はゆるされるであろう。 |

It is a trespass-offering: he is certainly guilty before Jehovah. |
これは愆祭である。彼は確かに主の前にとがを得たからである」。 |
