| 18-1 |
And Jehovah said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy fathers’ house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood. |
そこで、主はアロンに言われた、「あなたとあなたの子たち、およびあなたの父祖の家の者は、聖所に関する罪を負わなければならない。また、あなたとあなたの子たちとは、祭司職に関する罪を負わなければならない。 |
| 18-2 |
And thy brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou near with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall be before the tent of the testimony. |
あなたはまた、あなたの兄弟なるレビの部族の者、すなわち、あなたの父祖の部族の者どもを、あなたに近づかせ、あなたに連なり、あなたに仕えさせなければならない。ただし、あなたとあなたの子たちとは、共にあかしの幕屋の前で仕えなければならない。 |
| 18-3 |
And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the Tent: only they shall not come nigh unto the vessels of the sanctuary and unto the altar, that they die not, neither they, nor ye. |
彼らは、あなたの務と、すべての幕屋の務とを守らなければならない。ただし、聖所の器と、祭壇とに近づいてはならない。彼らもあなたがたも、死ぬことのないためである。 |
| 18-4 |
And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the Tent: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you. |
彼らはあなたに連なって、会見の幕屋の務を守り、幕屋のもろもろの働きをしなければならない。ほかの者は、あなたがたに近づいてはならない。 |
| 18-5 |
And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar; that there be wrath no more upon the children of Israel. |
このように、あなたがたは、聖所の務と、祭壇の務とを守らなければならない。そうすれば、主の激しい怒りは、かさねてイスラエルの人々に臨まないであろう。 |
| 18-6 |
And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are a gift, given unto Jehovah, to do the service of the tent of meeting. |
わたしはあなたがたの兄弟たるレビびとを、イスラエルの人々のうちから取り、主のために、これを賜物として、あなたがたに与え、会見の幕屋の働きをさせる。 |
| 18-7 |
And thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priesthood for everything of the altar, and for that within the veil; and ye shall serve: I give you the priesthood as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. |
あなたとあなたの子たちは共に祭司職を守って、祭壇と、垂幕のうちのすべての事を執り行い、共に勤めなければならない。わたしは祭司の職務を賜物として、あなたがたに与える。ほかの人で近づく者は殺されるであろう」。 |
| 18-8 |
8? And Jehovah spake unto Aaron, And I, behold, I have given thee the charge of my heave-offerings, even all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, as a portion for ever. |
主はまたアロンに言われた、「わたしはイスラエルの人々の、すべての聖なる供え物で、わたしにささげる物の一部をあなたに与える。すなわち、わたしはこれをあなたと、あなたの子たちに、その分け前として与え、永久に受くべき分とする。 |
| 18-9 |
This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, even every meal-offering of theirs, and every sin-offering of theirs, and every trespass-offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons. |
いと聖なる供え物のうち、火で焼かずに、あなたに帰すべきものは次のとおりである。すなわち、わたしにささげるすべての供え物、素祭、罪祭、愆祭はみな、いと聖なる物であって、あなたとあなたの子たちに帰するであろう。 |
| 18-10 |
As the most holy things shalt thou eat thereof; every male shall eat thereof: it shall be holy unto thee. |
いと聖なる所で、それを食べなければならない。男子はみな、それを食べることができる。それはあなたに帰すべき聖なる物である。 |
| 18-11 |
And this is thine: the heave-offering of their gift, even all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel; I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, as a portion for ever; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat thereof. |
またあなたに帰すべきものはこれである。すなわち、イスラエルの人々のささげる供え物のうち、すべて揺祭とするものであって、これをあなたとあなたのむすこ娘に与えて、永久に受くべき分とする。あなたの家の者のうち、清い者はみな、これを食べることができる。 |
| 18-12 |
All the best of the oil, and all the best of the vintage, and of the grain, the first-fruits of them which they give unto Jehovah, to thee have I given them. |
すべて油の最もよい物、およびすべて新しいぶどう酒と、穀物の最も良い物など、人々が主にささげる初穂をあなたに与える。 |
| 18-13 |
The first-ripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring unto Jehovah, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat thereof. |
国のすべての産物の初物で、人々が主のもとに携えてきたものは、あなたに帰するであろう。あなたの家の者のうち、清い者はみな、これを食べることができる。 |
| 18-14 |
Everything devoted in Israel shall be thine. |
イスラエルのうちの奉納物はみな、あなたに帰する。 |
| 18-15 |
Everything that openeth the womb, of all flesh which they offer unto Jehovah, both of man and beast shall be thine: nevertheless the first-born of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem. |
すべて肉なる者のういごであって、主にささげられる者はみな、人でも獣でも、あなたに帰する。ただし、人のういごは必ずあがなわなければならない。また汚れた獣のういごも、あがなわなければならない。 |
| 18-16 |
And those that are to be redeemed of them from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary (the same is twenty gerahs). |
人のういごは生後一か月で、あがなわなければならない。そのあがない金はあなたの値積りにより、聖所のシケルにしたがって、銀五シケルでなければならない。一シケルは二十ゲラである。 |
| 18-17 |
But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savor unto Jehovah. |
しかし、牛のういご、羊のういご、やぎのういごは、あがなってはならない。これらは聖なるものである。その血を祭壇に注ぎかけ、その脂肪を焼いて火祭とし、香ばしいかおりとして、主にささげなければならない。 |
| 18-18 |
And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave-breast and as the right thigh, it shall be thine. |
その肉はあなたに帰する。それは揺祭の胸や右のももと同じく、あなたに帰する。 |
| 18-19 |
All the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto Jehovah, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, as a portion for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before Jehovah unto thee and to thy seed with thee. |
イスラエルの人々が、主にささげる聖なる供え物はみな、あなたとあなたのむすこ娘とに与えて、永久に受ける分とする。これは主の前にあって、あなたとあなたの子孫とに対し、永遠に変らぬ塩の契約である」。 |
| 18-20 |
And Jehovah said unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any portion among them: I am thy portion and thine inheritance among the children of Israel. |
主はまたアロンに言われた、「あなたはイスラエルの人々の地のうちに、嗣業をもってはならない。また彼らのうちに、何の分をも持ってはならない。彼らのうちにあって、わたしがあなたの分であり、あなたの嗣業である。 |
| 18-21 |
And unto the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the tent of meeting. |
わたしはレビの子孫にはイスラエルにおいて、すべて十分の一を嗣業として与え、その働き、すなわち、会見の幕屋の働きに報いる。 |
| 18-22 |
And henceforth the children of Israel shall not come nigh the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die. |
イスラエルの人々は、かさねて会見の幕屋に近づいてはならない。罪を得て死なないためである。 |
| 18-23 |
But the Levites shall do the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations; and among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. |
レビびとだけが会見の幕屋の働きをしなければならない。彼らがその罪を負うであろう。彼らがイスラエルの人々のうちに、嗣業の地を持たないことをもって、あなたがたの代々ながく守るべき定めとしなければならない。 |
| 18-24 |
For the tithe of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering unto Jehovah, I have given to the Levites for an inheritance: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. |
わたしはイスラエルの人々が供え物として主にささげる十分の一を、レビびとに嗣業として与えた。それで『彼らはイスラエルの人々のうちに、嗣業の地を持ってはならない』と、わたしは彼らに言ったのである」。 |

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 2 |

| 18-26 |
Moreover thou shalt speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithe which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up a heave-offering of it for Jehovah, a tithe of the tithe. |
「レビびとに言いなさい、『わたしがイスラエルの人々から取って、嗣業として与える十分の一を受ける時、あなたがたはその十分の一の十分の一を、主にささげなければならない。 |
| 18-27 |
And your heave-offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the grain of the threshing-floor, and as the fulness of the winepress. |
あなたがたのささげ物は、打ち場からの穀物や、酒ぶねからのぶどう酒と同じように見なされるであろう。 |
| 18-28 |
Thus ye also shall offer a heave-offering unto Jehovah of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and thereof ye shall give Jehovah’s heave-offering to Aaron the priest. |
そのようにあなたがたもまた、イスラエルの人々から受けるすべての十分の一の物のうちから、主に供え物をささげ、主にささげたその供え物を、祭司アロンに与えなければならない。 |
| 18-29 |
Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave-offering of Jehovah, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it. |
あなたがたの受けるすべての贈物のうちから、その良いところ、すなわち、聖なる部分を取って、ことごとく供え物として、主にささげなければならない』。 |
| 18-30 |
Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye heave the best thereof from it, then it shall be reckoned unto the Levites as the increase of the threshing-floor, and as the increase of the wine-press. |
あなたはまた彼らに言いなさい、『あなたがたが、そのうちから良いところを取ってささげる時、その残りの部分はレビびとには、打ち場の産物や、酒ぶねの産物と同じように見なされるであろう。 |
| 18-31 |
And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward in return for your service in the tent of meeting. 3 |
あなたがたと、あなたがたの家族とは、どこでそれを食べてもよい。これは会見の幕屋であなたがたがする働きの報酬である。 |
| 18-32 |
And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best thereof: and ye shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, that ye die not. |
あなたがたが、その良いところをささげるときは、それによって、あなたがたは罪を負わないであろう。あなたがたはイスラエルの人々の聖なる供え物を汚してはならない。死をまぬかれるためである』」。 |
