33-1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts under the hand of Moses and Aaron. イスラエルの人々が、モーセとアロンとに導かれ、その部隊に従って、エジプトの国を出てから経た旅路は次のとおりである。
33-2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of Jehovah: and these are their journeys according to their goings out. モーセは主の命により、その旅路にしたがって宿駅を書きとめた。その宿駅にしたがえば旅路は次のとおりである。
33-3 And they journeyed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians, 彼らは正月の十五日にラメセスを出立した。すなわち過越の翌日イスラエルの人々は、すべてのエジプトびとの目の前を意気揚々と出立した。
33-4 while the Egyptians were burying all their first-born, whom Jehovah had smitten among them: upon their gods also Jehovah executed judgments. その時エジプトびとは、主に撃ち殺されたすべてのういごを葬っていた。主はまた彼らの神々にも罰を加えられた。
33-5 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth. こうしてイスラエルの人々はラメセスを出立してスコテに宿営し、
33-6 And they journeyed from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness. スコテを出立して荒野の端にあるエタムに宿営し、
33-7 And they journeyed from Etham, and turned back unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they encamped before Migdol. エタムを出立してバアル・ゼポンの前にあるピハヒロテに引き返してミグドルの前に宿営し、
33-8 And they journeyed from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and they went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah. ピハヒロテを出立して、海のなかをとおって荒野に入り、エタムの荒野を三日路ほど行って、メラに宿営し、
33-9 And they journeyed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve springs of water, and threescore and ten palm-trees; and they encamped there. メラを出立し、エリムに行って宿営した。エリムには水の泉十二と、なつめやし七十本とがあった。
33-10 And they journeyed from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea. エリムを出立して紅海のほとりに宿営し、
33-11 And they journeyed from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin. 紅海を出立してシンの荒野に宿営し、
33-12 And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah. シンの荒野を出立してドフカに宿営し、
33-13 And they journeyed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush. ドフカを出立してアルシに宿営し、
33-14 And they journeyed from Alush, and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink. アルシを出立してレピデムに宿営した。そこには民の飲む水がなかった。
33-15 And they journeyed from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai. レピデムを出立してシナイの荒野に宿営し、
33-16 And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah. シナイの荒野を出立してキブロテ・ハッタワに宿営し、
33-17 And they journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped in Hazeroth. キブロテ・ハッタワを出立してハゼロテに宿営し、
33-18 And they journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in Rithmah. ハゼロテを出立してリテマに宿営し、
33-19 And they journeyed from Rithmah, and encamped in Rimmon-perez. リテマを出立してリンモン・パレツに宿営し、
33-20 And they journeyed from Rimmon-perez, and encamped in Libnah. リンモン・パレツを出立してリブナに宿営し、
33-21 And they journeyed from Libnah, and encamped in Rissah. リブナを出立してリッサに宿営し、
33-22 And they journeyed from Rissah, and encamped in Kehelathah. リッサを出立してケヘラタに宿営し、
33-23 And they journeyed from Kehelathah, and encamped in mount Shepher. ケヘラタを出立してシャペル山に宿営し、
33-24 And they journeyed from mount Shepher, and encamped in Haradah. シャペル山を出立してハラダに宿営し、
33-25 And they journeyed from Haradah, and encamped in Makheloth. ハラダを出立してマケロテに宿営し、
33-26 And they journeyed from Makheloth, and encamped in Tahath. マケロテを出立してタハテに宿営し、
33-27 And they journeyed from Tahath, and encamped in Terah. タハテを出立してテラに宿営し、
33-28 And they journeyed from Terah, and encamped in Mithkah. テラを出立してミテカに宿営し、
33-29 And they journeyed from Mithkah, and encamped in Hashmonah. ミテカを出立してハシモナに宿営し、
33-30 And they journeyed from Hashmonah, and encamped in Moseroth. ハシモナを出立してモセラに宿営し、
33-31 And they journeyed from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene-jaakan. モセラを出立してベネヤカンに宿営し、
33-32 And they journeyed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped in Hor-haggidgad. ベネヤカンを出立してホル・ハギデガデに宿営し、
33-33 And they journeyed from Hor-haggidgad, and encamped in Jotbathah. ホル・ハギデガデを出立してヨテバタに宿営し、
33-34 And they journeyed from Jotbathah, and encamped in Abronah. ヨテバタを出立してアブロナに宿営し、
33-35 And they journeyed from Abronah, and encamped in Ezion-geber. アブロナを出立してエジオン・ゲベルに宿営し、
33-36 And they journeyed from Ezion-geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin (the same is Kadesh). エジオン・ゲベルを出立してチンの荒野すなわちカデシに宿営し、
33-37 And they journeyed from Kadesh, and encamped in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom. カデシを出立してエドムの国の端にあるホル山に宿営した。
33-38 And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month. イスラエルの人々がエジプトの国を出て四十年目の五月一日に、祭司アロンは主の命によりホル山に登って、その所で死んだ。
33-39 And Aaron was a hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor. アロンはホル山で死んだとき百二十三歳であった。
33-40 And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel. カナンの地のネゲブに住んでいたカナンびとアラデの王は、イスラエルの人々の来るのを聞いた。
33-41 And they journeyed from mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah. ついで、ホル山を出立してザルモナに宿営し、
33-42 And they journeyed from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon. ザルモナを出立してプノンに宿営し、
33-43 And they journeyed from Punon, and encamped in Oboth. プノンを出立してオボテに宿営し、
33-44 And they journeyed from Oboth, and encamped in Iye-abarim, in the border of Moab. オボテを出立してモアブの境にあるイエ・アバリムに宿営し、
33-45 And they journeyed from Iyim, and encamped in Dibon-gad. イエ・アバリムを出立してデボン・ガドに宿営し、
33-46 And they journeyed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim. デボン・ガドを出立してアルモン・デブラタイムに宿営し、
33-47 And they journeyed from Almon-diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo. アルモン・デブラタイムを出立してネボの前にあるアバリムの山に宿営し、
33-48 And they journeyed from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho. アバリムの山を出立してエリコに近いヨルダンのほとりのモアブの平野に宿営した。
33-49 And they encamped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth even unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab. すなわちヨルダンのほとりのモアブの平野で、ベテエシモテとアベル・シッテムとの間に宿営した。
33-50 And Jehovah spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, エリコに近いヨルダンのほとりのモアブの平野で、主はモーセに言われた、
33-51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい。あなたがたがヨルダンを渡ってカナンの地にはいるときは、
33-52 then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places: その地の住民をことごとくあなたがたの前から追い払い、すべての石像をこぼち、すべての鋳像をこぼち、すべての高き所を破壊しなければならない。
33-53 and ye shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it. またあなたがたはその地の民を追い払って、そこに住まなければならない。わたしがその地をあなたがたの所有として与えたからである。
33-54 And ye shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer thou shalt give the less inheritance: wheresoever the lot falleth to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherit. あなたがたは、おのおの氏族ごとにくじを引き、その地を分けて嗣業としなければならない。大きい部族には多くの嗣業を与え、小さい部族には少しの嗣業を与えなければならない。そのくじの当った所がその所有となるであろう。あなたがたは父祖の部族にしたがって、それを継がなければならない。
33-55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that ye let remain of them be as pricks in your eyes, and as thorns in your sides, and they shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. しかし、その地の住民をあなたがたの前から追い払わないならば、その残して置いた者はあなたがたの目にとげとなり、あなたがたの脇にいばらとなり、あなたがたの住む国において、あなたがたを悩ますであろう。
33-56 And it shall come to pass, that, as I thought to do unto them, so will I do unto you. また、わたしは彼らにしようと思ったとおりに、あなたがたにするであろう」。
