| 22-1 |
And David spake unto Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: |
ダビデは主がもろもろの敵の手とサウルの手から、自分を救い出された日に、この歌の言葉を主に向かって述べ、 |
| 22-2 |
and he said,Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine; |
彼は言った、「主はわが岩、わが城、わたしを救う者、 |
| 22-3 |
God, my rock, in him will I take refuge;My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge;My saviour, thou savest me from violence. |
わが神、わが岩。わたしは彼に寄り頼む。わが盾、わが救の角、わが高きやぐら、わが避け所、わが救主。あなたはわたしを暴虐から救われる。 |
| 22-4 |
I will call upon Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised:So shall I be saved from mine enemies. |
わたしは、ほめまつるべき主に呼ばわって、わたしの敵から救われる。 |
| 22-5 |
For the waves of death compassed me;The floods of ungodliness made me afraid: |
死の波はわたしをとりまき、滅びの大水はわたしを襲った。 |
| 22-6 |
The cords of Sheol were round about me;The snares of death came upon me. |
陰府の綱はわたしをとりかこみ、死のわなはわたしに、たち向かった。 |
| 22-7 |
In my distress I called upon Jehovah;Yea, I called unto my God:And he heard my voice out of his temple,And my cry came into his ears. |
苦難のうちにわたしは主を呼び、またわが神に呼ばわった。主がその宮からわたしの声を聞かれて、わたしの叫びはその耳にとどいた。 |
| 22-8 |
Then the earth shook and trembled,The foundations of heaven quakedAnd were shaken, because he was wroth. |
その時地は震いうごき、天の基はゆるぎふるえた。彼が怒られたからである。 |
| 22-9 |
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils,And fire out of his mouth devoured:Coals were kindled by it. |
煙はその鼻からたち上り、彼が怒られたからである。火はその口から出て焼きつくし、白熱の炭は彼から燃え出た。 |
| 22-10 |
He bowed the heavens also, and came down;And thick darkness was under his feet. |
彼は天を低くして下られ、暗やみが彼の足の下にあった。 |
| 22-11 |
And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly;Yea, he was seen upon the wings of the wind. |
彼はケルブに乗って飛び、風の翼に乗ってあらわれた。 |
| 22-12 |
And he made darkness pavilions round about him,Gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies. |
彼はその周囲に幕屋として、やみと濃き雲と水の集まりとを置かれた。 |
| 22-13 |
At the brightness before him. Coals of fire were kindled. |
そのみ前の輝きから炭火が燃え出た。 |
| 22-14 |
Jehovah thundered from heaven,And the Most High uttered his voice. |
は天から雷をとどろかせ、いと高き者は声を出された。 |
| 22-15 |
And he sent out arrows, and scattered them;Lightning, and discomfited them. |
彼はまた矢を放って彼らを散らし、いなずまを放って彼らを撃ち破られた。 |
| 22-16 |
Then the channels of the sea appeared,The foundations of the world were laid bare,By the rebuke of Jehovah,At the blast of the breath of his nostrils. |
主のとがめと、その鼻のいぶきとによって、海の底はあらわれ、世界の基が、あらわになった。 |
| 22-17 |
He sent from on high, he took me;He drew me out of many waters; |
彼は高き所から手を伸べてわたしを捕え、大水の中からわたしを引き上げ、 |
| 22-18 |
He delivered me from my strong enemy,From them that hated me; for they were too mighty for me. |
わたしの強い敵と、わたしを憎む者とからわたしを救われた。彼らはわたしにとって、あまりにも強かったからだ。 |
| 22-19 |
They came upon me in the day of my calamity;But Jehovah was my stay. |
彼らはわたしの災の日にわたしに、たち向かった。しかし主はわたしの支柱となられた。 |
| 22-20 |
He brought me forth also into a large place;He delivered me, because he delighted in me. |
彼はまたわたしを広い所へ引きだされ、わたしを喜ばれて、救ってくださった。 |
| 22-21 |
Jehovah rewarded me according to my righteousness;According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. |
主はわたしの義にしたがってわたしに報い、わたしの手の清きにしたがってわたしに報いかえされた。 |
| 22-22 |
For I have kept the ways of Jehovah,And have not wickedly departed from my God. |
それは、わたしが主の道を守り、悪を行わず、わが神から離れたことがないからである。 |
| 22-23 |
For all his ordinances were before me;And as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. |
そのすべてのおきてはわたしの前にあって、わたしはその、み定めを離れたことがない。 |
| 22-24 |
I was also perfect toward him;And I kept myself from mine iniquity. |
わたしは主の前に欠けた所なく、自らを守って罪を犯さなかった。 |
| 22-25 |
Therefore hath Jehovah recompensed me according to my righteousness,According to my cleanness in his eyesight. |
それゆえ、主はわたしの義にしたがい、その目のまえにわたしの清きにしたがって、わたしに報いられた。 |
| 22-26 |
With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful;With the perfect man thou wilt show thyself perfect; |
忠実な者には、あなたは忠実な者となり、欠けた所のない人には、あなたは欠けた所のない者となり、 |
| 22-27 |
With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure;And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward.And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward. |
清い者には、あなたは清い者となり、まがった者には、かたいぢな者となられる。 |
| 22-28 |
And the afflicted people thou wilt save;But thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down. |
あなたはへりくだる民を救われる、しかしあなたの目は高ぶる者を見てこれをひくくせられる。 |
| 22-29 |
For thou art my lamp, O Jehovah;And Jehovah will lighten my darkness. |
まことに、主よ、あなたはわたしのともし火、わが神はわたしのやみを照される。 |
| 22-30 |
For by thee I run upon a troop;By my God do I leap over a wall. |
まことに、あなたによってわたしは敵軍をふみ滅ぼし、わが神によって石がきをとび越えることができる。 |
| 22-31 |
As for God, his way is perfect:The word of Jehovah is tried;He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him. |
この神こそ、その道は非のうちどころなく、主の約束は真実である。彼はすべて彼に寄り頼む者の盾である。 |
| 22-32 |
For who is God, save Jehovah?And who is a rock, save our God? |
主のほかに、だれが神か、われらの神のほか、だれが岩であるか。 |
| 22-33 |
God is my strong fortress;And he guideth the perfect in his way. |
この神こそわたしの堅固な避け所であり、わたしの道を安全にされた。 |
| 22-34 |
He maketh his feet like hinds’ feet,And setteth me upon my high places. |
わたしの足をめじかの足のようにして、わたしを高い所に安全に立たせ、 |
| 22-35 |
He teacheth my hands to war,So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass. |
わたしの手を戦いに慣らされたので、わたしの腕は青銅の弓を引くことができる。 |
| 22-36 |
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation;And thy gentleness hath made me great. |
あなたはその救の盾をわたしに与え、あなたの助けは、わたしを大いなる者とされた。 |
| 22-37 |
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me;And my feet have not slipped. |
あなたはわたしが歩く広い場所を与えられたので、わたしの足はすべらなかった。 |
| 22-38 |
I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them;Neither did I turn again till they were consumed. |
わたしは敵を追って、これを滅ぼし、これを絶やすまでは帰らなかった。 |
| 22-39 |
And I have consumed them, and smitten them through, so that they cannot arise:Yea, they are fallen under my feet. |
わたしは彼らを絶やし、彼らを砕いたので彼らは立つことができず、わたしの足もとに倒れた。 |
| 22-40 |
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle;Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. |
あなたは戦いのために、わたしに力を帯びさせ、わたしを攻める者をわたしの下にかがませられた。 |
| 22-41 |
Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me,That I might cut off them that hate me. |
あなたによって、敵はそのうしろをわたしに向けたので、わたしを憎む者をわたしは滅ぼした。 |
| 22-42 |
They looked, but there was none to save;Even unto Jehovah, but he answered them not. |
彼らは見まわしたが、救う者はいなかった。彼らは主に叫んだが、彼らには答えられなかった。 |
| 22-43 |
Then did I beat them small as the dust of the earth,I did crush them as the mire of the streets, and did spread them abroad. |
わたしは彼らを地のちりのように細かに打ちくだき、ちまたのどろのように、踏みにじった。 |
| 22-44 |
Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people;Thou hast kept me to be the head of the nations:A people whom I have not known shall serve me. |
あなたはわたしを国々の民との争いから救い出し、わたしをもろもろの国民のかしらとされた。わたしの知らなかった民がわたしに仕えた。 |
| 22-45 |
The foreigners shall submit themselves unto me:As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me. |
国の人たちはきてわたしにこび、わたしの事を聞くとすぐわたしに従った。 |
| 22-46 |
The foreigners shall fade away,And shall come trembling out of their close places. |
異国の人たちは、うちしおれてその城からふるえながら出てきた。 |
| 22-47 |
Jehovah liveth; And blessed be my rock;And exalted be God, the rock of my salvation, |
主は生きておられる。わが岩はほむべきかな。わが神、わが救の岩はあがむべきかな。 |
| 22-48 |
Even the God that executeth vengeance for me,And that bringeth down peoples under me, |
この神はわたしのために、あだを報い、もろもろの民をわたしの下に置かれた。 |
| 22-49 |
And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies:Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me;Thou deliverest me from the violent man. |
またわたしを敵から救い出し、あだの上にわたしをあげ、暴虐の人々からわたしを救い出された。 |
| 22-50 |
Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the nations,And will sing praises unto thy name. |
それゆえ、主よ、わたしはもろもろの国民の中で、あなたをたたえ、あなたの、み名をほめ歌うであろう。 |
| 22-51 |
Great deliverance giveth he to his king,And showeth lovingkindness to his anointed,To David and to his seed, for evermore. |
主はその王に大いなる勝利を与え、油を注がれた者に、ダビデとその子孫とに、とこしえに、いつくしみを施される」。 |
